Today was the second time I have dined at Linn'sTex-Mex. This is by far the most authentic Tex-Mex I have experienced this far north. The food is fabulous and fresh, the staff are kind and helpful and the atmosphere is clean, bright and pleasant.

I lived in Phoenix for 35 years and ate at the best Tex-mex/Mexican restaurants in the Southwest. Linn's Tex Mex rates right at the top. The fresh chips, rich salsa, fesh pico de gallo and in house marinated meats are top tier. I can't wait to come back!

Linn's Tex Mex Restaurant in Park River, ND, is a hidden gem that deserves every bit of its 5-star rating. Nestled in the charming little town of Park River, this restaurant delivered an unexpectedly authentic Tex-Mex food experience that pleasantly surprised our family, hailing from Los Angeles--a city renowned for its Mexican cuisine. From the outset, the freshly made salsa set the stage for a meal-masterpiece. Bursting with flavors, it was a delightful start to our meal. The portions at Linn's were not only generous but also crafted with fresh ingredients, pleasing the palates of our entire family. The authenticity of the dishes showcased the chef's Texan roots, adding a unique touch to the dining experience. What truly elevated our visit was the warm and friendly atmosphere, exemplified by the owners. After our meal, we enjoyed a delightful conversation, a charming aspect of dining in a small town. Learning that their chef hails from Texas explained the genuine taste that permeated every dish. As summertime residents of Park River, we eagerly anticipate returning to Linn's for that awesome salsa and another fine meal. The welcoming ambiance and the feeling of leaving as "old friends" after our first visit make Linn's Tex Mex Restaurant a must-visit destination in one of our favorite little towns on the prairie.

This place is so far from TexMex it might as well be an Italian joint. As a native Texas boy, I was kinda happy to see this place, then upon entering the building I realized they are trying so hard to be an authentic Mexican restaurant. Nacho cheese sauce is not queso, and real TexMex doesn't have that much vegetable and that little meat. The rice was under seasoned and the salsa was watery tasting. Great service though.

I visited twice during my recent stay in Park River and tried several items from the menu. I have lived almost 50 years in Texas and found the Tex Mex to be excellent. I was particularly impressed with the red salsa which tasted fresh made. Smoked brisket was being served and it was also very good. This place is a welcome addition to an area with very limited dining options. I look forward to eating here again on my next visit to ND.

Been here twice. The atmosphere is good, service is quick. Prices are comparable to other restaurants. Overall a very pleasant experience. For being a rural community restaurant, it is a very welcome addition. My family will likely frequent Linns several times per year.
