I really wanted to like this place. The service is stellar. My wife and I were served by very sweet ladies who made sure to attend us well and were very friendly. The marina is pretty. The restaurant interior is cute, as you'll see with a quick scroll google's photos. My wife and I had decent walleye sandwiches, which were pricey, but that was to be expected at the marina.
What disappointed us immensely was the sheer blandness of their pie. A whole pie cost about $40 and it's handmade. We hoped the taste would reflect that investment. Nope. The pie was not terrible, but it wasn't better than a frozen pie from Wal-Mart. It sadly reinforces the stereotype that local food in ND is often meat-and-potatoes blah.
If Lund's Landing specialized in more than pies, I'd probably leave a 3-star review and return to give it another try. After spending almost a hundred bucks on two sandwiches and the most underwhelming pie ever, I can neither recommend nor justify returning. All I can say is I wish the restaurant luck because we really appreciated their friendly service and wish the food quality matched.

Their Juneberry pie is delicious... But what makes this place is the people! Friendly family run business with lots of local knowledge and hospitality. We rented a boat for the afternoon last year and loved being out on the lake.

What an absolute disappointment. Terribly overpriced for the food received. We stopped because of the need for a bathroom, the setting was inviting for lunch so we decided to eat here, lots of hype and no follow through.
