I came up to Minot for an Air Force training Aug 11 2023. We (myself and a few Air Force buddies) were hoping to grab a bite and dip a toe across the border. We walk in, door bell rings, and it's somewhat empty. Owner, Pat, greets us at the door. He says they're not open yet, and he's just taken over ownership. We all sit around talking about the lounge, the hopes he has for his business, how he wants to make the location a great spot for family and friends on the road. It wasn't open, but when they do open, if the food is anything like the owner, then this is going to be the best spot on the border. It'll be my favorite spot in North Dakota. The hospitality and genuine ownership was a breath of fresh air from a California kid. 10/10 Five Stars. I'll never forget this place. Must see if you're near St. John or The Turtle Mountains. A lot of love in this place.

Hamburger was good! Call ahead of time to make sure they have potatoes if you want a baked potato with your steak, They only have three.

The best place to eat in southern Manitoba is in North Dakota. The Border Lounge has the best Rib Eyes. All different sizes too.

OH MY GOD!!!!!! This place is literally right on the border. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but inside it has all the feel of home. Nice little bar, and a GREAT restaurant. For the money, it is the best food I have had in ND yet! Tthe steak was to die for, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect. I have been looking for good food here in ND and have finally found it. It is about a 10 minute drive from Belcourt and well worth it. When we pulled up the lot was full, and the place is bigger than it looks. The staff were attentive, friendly, and fast. The drinks are cold, the food great, and the people nice. They have my business!!!!
