My husband and I were passing through after hiking on a Sunday, and we were shocked to find somewhere that was open and even more to our delight was the service and food! We had the best pizza and breadsticks we have ever had! My husband and I live in North Carolina, and we have seriously tried to consider how to franchise this place into a location down here. Sooooo goood!!!

After hiking in the local area, my husband and I were craving pizza. It was (is) the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and what few places we ran across online were closed…that is, until we found Next Door Pizza. This tiny mom and pop pizza place didn’t look like much from the outside, the food and service were absolutely outstanding! We had garlic bread twists for an appetizer, then my husband had the BBQ chicken pizza and I had the pepperoni. Everything was cooked fresh upon ordering and served piping hot and so— delicious!! We could not have been happier with this “find” and should we ever be in the area again, will definitely go back…and In the meantime, we are enjoying our leftovers to the fullest tonight! Thank you Next Door Pizza!

Prompt service from very courteous and very friendly people. The taco salad was excellent . I recommend this restaurant as a necessary stop in a very nice town. If you are traveling, make a detour to Scranton, N.D. and dine at Next Door Pizza. You will be satisfied and your taste buds will too. Bon Appetite.Julia Child would recommend NDP.

Excellent pizza and bread sticks! Other items looked delicious on the rest of the tables as well. All of the staff have been friendly and helpful; we have dined here several times. It's definitely worth the drive for delicious pizza!

Would give 5 stars if they were open more. Can never get over there because they open so late in Scranton and the other location in Bowman is no longer next-door pizza and doesnt open until 5pm on fridays and saturdays only. The pizza is fantastic but they run the dumbest hours. Why is a pizza place not open at lunch? I would imagine there is a decent amount of money to be made if they were open for lunch or if they started selling frozen pizzas at the local grocery store or gas stations.
