I guess if you’re the type of person that likes drunks that stink of cigarette smoke constantly getting 2” from your face you never met before hanging all over you then you might like this place. Bartender was too busy on her phone to care and acted like it was the end of the world when she had to get two drinks. Just was not impressed, maybe we caught them on an off night but wasn’t impressed.

The only reason I’m leaving two stars is because of the female waitress. The male behind the bar with silver grey hair is rude and inappropriate. It was 1240 am and me and my friends were there gambling and having a good time. He told us to stop and that we were belligerent. But when we stopped and tried to cash out he refused to help us cash out and then proceeded to speak about us to a female patron like I wasn’t standing there. Please post his schedule because we will never frequent your bar at that time again. But 5 stars to the the female waitress she was amazing.

I visited Valley City for a few days and I had a great time at Boomer's. Great bar.

If you are looking for the town drunk drama club this is the place to be. Very cramped even when the place is empty, dirty and musty with really bad bartenders.

Needs an update badly with less business happening and some of the bartenders are too drunk to work correctly and end up having tantrums in their drunken state. It's okay to visit but spends more time at The Pub these days with the good looking bartenders.
