Staff here is amazing as well as the food. Was at this hotel for 2 months and ate here almost every day. Highly recommend visiting here!!

To enter the Bar and Grill we weren’t greeted and all the tables were dirty. My family and I decided to sit at a bussed but dirty booth. They were understaffed and couldn’t make some drinks on the menu. They served mediocre food at best, and poured the wrong wine twice and charged for the expensive wine that was ordered. Dad was too nice to say anything but the bartender was either brand new or ripping us off. Definitely not coming back here, not that i’m here often. The server got a decent tip, but we knew the wine was wrong because the bottle they poured was the cheap house and not what we ordered. My brother had checked and the the ecco domani (the wine my dad had ordered) was unopened. As a sommelier, a wine expert, my dad could tell from the rip. Please pay attention & do better. I understand you are understaffed but this isn’t okay and needs to be addressed. Do better.

The food was very good, everyone in the group liked it!
The 2 servers were very nice, but they seemed overwhelmed [not their fault that it was busy] & it took at least 45 minutes to get our beverages. If they had communicated, it would have been fine!

They weren't able to accommodate a group of six, as the one space with connected tables was already in use although not full. Food and drinks were very good but the service was slow.

Small little place connected to a hotel.
I wasn't expecting much. Just standard bar food. Oh, but what delicious bar food it is! I eat here every time I am in Valley City now.

So I ordered a burger. Safe food for middle of North Dakota. See the pic for description. One would figure a $11 burger would include a pickle or maybe a bit of iceberg lettuce. Nope. That's extra. Really. I paid a buck for a piece of processed cheese and up charge for the onion rings. But not a pickle. So I ate my 1/3 # burger plain cause I will never eat here again and nor should you.
Edit:
See the last two pictures. That's how a hamburger should look. Check out the menu description in the price. No deception and a bargain.

Comment:
I guess the owner of Bridges doesn't realize that having a plain Jane burger on the menu is just wrong. Why would you have to plain hamburger and have to pay for the sides. I go to McDonald's and I expect a pickle and some lettuce and possibly some onions. You're selling an overpriced hamburger patty on a piece of bread. There's no way that you can justify having that on your menu at that price. Shameless you are.

Nice bar and grill and connected to hotel we are staying at. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious and I had a side Caesar salad. Service was excellent and place has lots of windows and good views. The mozzarella sticks were delicious for appetizers. Would definitely go here again when in Valley City.

Not bad. The pepperjack mac and cheese bite things were good, smashburger was aight. But if you're from Texas, whatever you do, don't order the chips and salsa! You'll hate it.

We stopped at Bridges Bar and Grill on Monday 7/15 on our way out to Montana. After a long drive we were hoping to get some decent food and take a break. Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience. We seated ourselves and the place was very busy, it took the server at least 20 minutes to bring our drinks and then two out of the four meals we ordered arrived significantly earlier than the other two meals, to the point where they almost finished their meals by the time we got ours. I ordered 10 bone-in wings, and when they arrived they were covered in garlic butter and melted Parmesan cheese. The others ordered a burger, a wrap, and boneless wings that were at best average. Our server never came to check on us, and we had to ask a different server for our bill. I would not recommend.
