The people who own this place are so friendly, helpful and down to earth. Absolutely wonderful to deal with them. The services they provide are great and I highly recommend this place !

Kid-friendliness: They have food and toys for the kids as well as empathy and compassion for sick, hurt or unhappy kids.

The people running the place were super friendly and helpful. Family and special needs kids friendly. Very kind. Great drinks. Helped us with figuring out our boat rental. Just an all around good experience for me and my family

Went their to do some fishing with a friend a couple of times. Staff there was very friendly and offered to give me a soda if I bought a glass because I'm a recovering alcoholic. Very friendly staff, tasty ice cream and fair price for bait. I would recommend this place to a friend without hesitation and I will visit

Had a great time at the hungry pelican over Memorial Day weekend! Great drinks and friendly service. I love the atmosphere and the vibe there. Will definitely be coming back this summer!!????

Cute little shack with some of the best ice cream iv had! Such a unique and amazing selection. If I ever pass back through I'll have to revisit for sure!!

FANTASTIC Place! What fun crew and a welcome addition to Lake Ashtabula. Resort style drinks, nice gift shop, ice cream, a few things to eat….definitely always worth tying to their guest docks and enjoying their hospitality!

40 bucks for a case of beer, 7.50 for 2 scoops of minnows. Horrible, just stop at brothers 3 and get your stuff. Used the wildlife side for access, and not they're so called "private access " to the ice. Lol! Hungry pelican, if the access is yours, why is the previous owner plowing a road instead of you? As far as minnow prices, pretty sure they are the only place on the lake that sells minnows during winter so then they can justify their price. Yes,must be ignorant, when your price gouging. What are the points of reviews if you can't take a. critique lol. We can go the next step , if need be. You don't need to worry hungry pelican, I'll buy minnows from brothers 3 and beer from dakota silver. And i used the wildlife access like I was before unlike your so called caught on camera. Lol maybe you guys should take your heads out of your rear, and breath for air. Your right, you did price gouge me for my purchase. I would love to see the footage of when I supposedly accessed the lake when I went in the cores side
