The pizza sauce was very salty. We couldn't eat the cheese garlic bread, as it was very tough. The restaurant had a musty smell.

I really don’t know what the hype is about this place, as it’s evident there is no accounting for taste. Pizza has no cheese to speak of, and toppings are on top of the minimal cheese that is on the bottom. So strange. Basically gross with canned mushrooms to boot.

I only get to ND once or twice a year, but at least one of those times I make the trip to Valley City to eat pizza corner pizza. It is clear when you are in there that many people from out of town make a point to stop in and eat there as well. Excellent go-to recipes with ingredients that are fresh (you can tell the difference). The seating and atmosphere is what you would expect from a hometown restaurant- I love it

So pizza tasted fine, but my rant is, I got to the counter before the rush of orders, but EVERYONE got their pizza before me. Then, it looked like my pizza was cut like a blind man. Have a little more respect in the kitchen.

This restaurant has been the go-to place in Valley City for decades. Exceptionally tasty and unique pizza with uncharacteristically fresh ingredients for its area. The prices have unfortunately gone up tremendously in the past few years, but the quality has remained the same for ages.
It is owned by “Pizza Dave”, who is known to be very particular about the quality of his pizzas and also very protective of their secret recipe. Whenever you stop by Valley City, this is one place you MUST visit.
