I haven't been here in a few years because the last few times the food was mediocre at best. Generally i have come for breakfast but have had lunch a couple times too. Today, I had a sausage and ham omellete with onion and green pepper, side of American fries and sourdough toast. I asked for the onion and green pepper to be sautéed well done. Food came out in under 10 minutes which i thought was impressive at first, but knowing how long sautéed veggies take to actually be well done, i knew what was coming. Onion and green pepper must have hit the pan for 2.7 seconds and thrown into and onto the omelette because they were still very crunchy. Take the veggies out and it still wasn't anything to write home about. Everything was so bland, again. The American fries were, well, not fried? White, almost raw looking pieces of potato hardly cooked through and unseasoned wasn't on my bingo card. (Maybe microwaved for 6.2 seconds?) Didn't eat those. How fast we got our food is making sense now! The sourdough toast was good though, so there's that! I didn't bother sending food back as i have come to the realization this is the norm and had things to do. Really want to like this diner as I love breakfast food and it's local, but I just don't think I can come back and spend money on something i can do better myself at home.

Coffee ☕️ is Pricey and not good, I drank it for I was billed for it, they get my issue of Coffee resolved and I'll up this to a 5 star review for a Diner that hopefully gets top shelf Java ? ?

Stopped in for coffee. VERY good! and cake. My Rhubarb pie was delicious. Service was friendly and efficient and our server knew what to suggest. Kind of tucked away. Without local guide doubt I'd found it.
