Always a great time with the team at Maxwells. Craft Cocktails,Great Wine and amazing food. Has the rack of Venison 🦌 perfect prepared and farm raised so none of the traditional game flavor. Bread pudding for dessert and a shot of Limoncello 🍋
Love sitting in the bar and enjoying delicious cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. Choices for every appetite. Remember to make a reservation!
Best upscale restaurant in Fargo, hands down. Highly recommend. Fantastic food and craft cocktails are amazing.
Always a pleasure to dine at Maxwells. Food and drinks are top tier, and service is excellent.
This was the best upscale restaurant experience we have been to in the F-M area. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was pleasant and not fussy. Our server Alanna was wonderful and really knew the menu. She made great recommendations. We will definitely be back!
This place always does such a good job with the concept of 'eating with your eyes first'. I wanted to take a picture, but I was on a work trip and held back. Super personable, attentive service who know how to recommend, upsell, and/or affirm your ordering decisions.
I regularly go to Maxwell‘s for dinner. I have never been disappointed. The service is great and the food is excellent. The staff is top-notch. Our waitress Jennifer is exceptional. Maxwell is one of the best restaurants in Fargo. I strongly recommend it.

Definitely one of the top eating experiences in the area for many years now. Small menu, but each dish is thoughtful and complex. As expected at high end establishment, staff are well trained and knowledgeable. Entry to dining area is a little small and awkward, but with reservation was immediately seated so didn't have to spend much time in the entry.

We dined at Maxwells on the recommendation of a close friend, who said that they have not only quality food and service but they will also personalize the experience.
The purpose of our visit was to celebrate our mother’s 70th birthday. When making the reservation this was mentioned and the receptionist said they would have the table decorated and ready for a 70th birthday.
Upon arrival we were set in the back of the restaurant next to the restroom and server hallway with only menus decorating the table. Halfway through the dinner a table next to us arrived also with a birthday and we’re immediately given celebration hats and blowers. We asked for some and were provided them, but this was not our expectation based on the previous conversations with the restaurant.
We ended up spending $400 on a dinner for six that was just fine. We had a tenderloin returned and recooked due to being overcooked on the restaurant and a free dessert for the birthday girl, but the dessert was a small 1 1/2” by 1 1/2” square cake. Other than that everything was cooked well, tasted good, but didn’t Wow. The tres leches cake was probably the star of the night. The whole family felt it was the best item we ate.

I enjoyed myself so much the first time, that I came back for a second visit on my last night in town. Everything was delicious, but the Elk was a standout.

The only disappointment was the change in the sauce for the scallop
appetizer.

Had dinner here while in town. Great waitress and excellent service. Had the ahi tuna with spicy soba noodles which was delicious. Then I had the beef tenderloin and my husband had the elk tenderloin- both great quality and perfectly cooked Wonderful meal!
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Maxwells. Our server Alana was well informed, attentive, respectful. and interesting to speak with. Her input on portion sizes was spot on. The food was very tasty and well prepared. The restaurant was clean, well appointed with eye catching art and not noisy. Maxwells is a good place to treat yourself to a delicious and memorable dinner.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Expect to pay $100+ for two people.
