There were five of us tonight on July 15. We were excited to try a new venue in Fargo. We were planning on sitting rooftop, but unfortunately it was raining and the smoke was pretty bad outside. We opted to sit inside. We got there a little after 5:30 there were four out of the five women in the party we ordered drinks and an appetizer When the fifth person got there we ordered our food at approximately 5:45 we did not get our food until after 6:30. There were only four other tables in the entire restaurant at the time one in our party ordered the walleye sandwich surely after ordering the server came back and said there was no wall until tomorrow she changed her order two out of the five ordered salads and the other two out of the five ordered bowls with rice when the food came out after 6:30 PM one of the bowls did not have any rice and the server apologized, saying they ran out of rice and that her meal would be copped. The food was subpar. It seemed that the servers were just standing around not really enough work for them to do two cooks came out of the kitchen wearing tank top undershirts with sports shorts did not look like they were busy at all while we were waiting for our food which took over 50 minutes. We were very disappointed with the quality of food and the length of time that it took to get our order, it was not busy And sadly we will not be returning

We dined here tonight 5 women. Waited over an hour to get our food and was so disappointed in the food. There wasn’t any walleye literally 5 other tables in the entire restaurant we were excited to try this new place. Suggest getting more kitchen help ridiculous that you run out of rice during the week and the wait Time to get the food is unreal. Sadly we won’t be back and will not recommend

Great music, and unique layout. Nicely priced food. Jay’s dry rub traditional wings are bangin.

We thought that we found a new place to hang out. Everyone was awesome. The last time we were there I Ordered an Old fashioned the bartender’s smile turned into a frown, he abruptly said we have no bitters. I noticed bitters to the right hand side of the bar and they are less than a block from the Bottle Barn. He just didn’t want to make one. So we went to the Barcode and had their amazing pizza. We found a place after all. See you later sandbox.

Went in for supper and was really disappointed. Took 40 mins for our cheese curds to come out and then another 20 or more for our food. Wrap had soggy chicken and my fries were ice cold. They forgot to put in part of our order so had to wait for that as well. There was only 3 full tables and wait staff/kitchen staff acted like it was super busy. If they think that is busy that’s horrible! Will never go back don’t recommend.

Excellent service and food. The only issue was poor music choice and blasting too loud to have a normal conversation.

Waited for 10mins to be seated and then waited 20mins for a waiter. We ended up leaving.

Fun place with good food and great entertainment

If you decide to try it out just stick with water or a soda. We got a margarita and it was pretty awful. Said something and explained that it wasn’t great. Was offered a remake but we didn’t chance another one. We got a buffalo wrap which wasn’t great. Pizza was pretty decent.
Bill for 1 drink (yes still got charged 9$ even though we sent it back) 1 soda 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals was $60
Saturday night at 7pm and only 3 tables.
We likely won’t go back

Great option for youth baseball teams. They treated our team great last night!

The Sandbox is my favorite bar/ restaurant to go to! Happy and fun atmosphere. I also love it because I am able to bring my daughter. She enjoys the family fun day they have on Mondays, and kids eat free on Tuesdays! 100% recommend

Came for dinner, wasn't even talked to for 15 minutes, told the host stand, nothing happened, left after 20 minutes because we weren't being served. As we left, 4 waiters were standing around and talking instead of serving. It was almost completely empty as well.
