An absolute must go when traveling to and from Canada, or through the area. We felt like a coffee but didn't know where to go. The town of Westhope was nearby, we took a chance thinking "perhaps a gas station will have coffee?" Then we spotted "The Standard News And Brews."It's called that because it doubles as the local newspaper headquarters and the local coffee shop.The place is amazing. First there is the coffee. It is European class quality. The roasts, and the blends are heavenly. The barista named Megan makes the perfect Cappuccino and my wife enjoyed a hot chocolate. On the day we came in, some of the local-towns-people were there as well as Ben the owner. We also met the local sheriff as well. We spent over an hour enjoying delightful conversation with everyone in the comfort of this charming coffee shop. Head on in and have your own experience you won't be disappointed.
