Been here twice now while traveling to or through Williston. Loved the Carolina rice bowl so much the first time I made this a priority stop my next time in town. Best rice bowl I’ve ever eaten, and I’m not even kidding. Got the barbacoa option, large size, and added guac. Happy to spend $16 on quality ingredients made well. These days you can barely get a fast food meal for that much, never mind one so filling and incredible tasting.
I feel like this is a good place but execution could be a bit better. A lot of hard rice grains in my bowl, the meats look un-appealing. A bit of imagination and better execution this could be a great place.
There was only one other takeout order when I came in the store. I ordered the same item as I had never been there before it sounded good. I got my order quickly and no one offered a plate or utensils ? yes I could have asked but I just went and sat down and started eating. The food quality was okay the service not so much.There was a good selection of sauces in bottles but oddly no sugar or salt or pepper on the tableI would go back
