This is one of my favorite restaurants in Williston North Dakota. Most of the time I sit in the bar, separate the main dining area. I feel like the stakes are cooked the way that I like them more often than not compared to other places in town.

I have ate here twice before and it was very good but tonight 11-22-24 was a big disappointment. The lobster tail was cooked too long I told them and they said they would fix it but they brought out more lobster tail that was cooked so long it was like trying to eat lobster jerky. I could not eat it and even if it had been cooked right they decided they would leave off the seasonings and butter this time. The waitress never came back and asked if we wanted refills and when she came to see if we were ready for tickets I asked her for a to go Dr Pepper which she never brought me. When we handed her the money to pay for the ticket she asked if we wanted any change which was about $18. When we were leaving i asked another girl to get me my to go drink and the waitress didn't notice i was standing at the door and she told the other girls "they didn't leave me a tip." I told her why I didn't leave one and told her it was rude to complain about not getting a tip when she didn't do her job. The couple that was with us did leave a cash tip on the table even though she did not deserve it... we will not be going back.

I came in with some friends and the bartender Nick was super knowledgeable about the menu. He made us some of his famous smoked old fashion specials and I gotta say, he makes the best in town. When you go here make sure you see Nick at the bar.

Overpriced for the poor quality. Be sure to look at your bill....they charge .50 cents for putting ranch dressing on your dinner salad. They also charge $1.99 for substitutions. You have to ask for salt & and pepper because they are not on the tables. Can't make this stuff up.

One of the best places I've been in a while! From the service to the food. Everything was amazing. I've never seen people work so hard in a restaurant before. Especially a young blonde lady hosting, i didn't catch her name. I had the surf and turf with mashed potatoes and it was amazing! The mashed potatoes are so creamy and buttery. The steak was cooked perfect, and the lobster tail was delicious.

First off I want to say I get it that places are short staffed and experiencing difficult challenges. We called hours before we wanted to make reservations but were told no; we were ok with going in and waiting. We arrived here and placed our spot in the waiting list. Others were coming in and only waited 5 to 15 minutes and were seated before us. We were told 3 times by workers that our table is getting ready for us but then sat and waited 30 minutes to be told again we are almost ready. 2 whole hours is how long we waited till we all decided to leave. When I go to tell the host, they were just getting the tables put together and not even cleaned yet. You guys need to get your stuff together because we waited 2 hours for service and parties same size and close were going on before us and we waited very patiently. This was just ridiculous!

Best steak and onion soup that I've had in forever. I tried a Bison Ribeye and it was phenomenal

Been here three times. First time steak was over cooked. Ordered the cowboy Ribeye and for the price it needed to be great. Had chili as appetizer and it was great.
Showed the waiter my steak which ordered as medium and it was well and was told it would be comped, then he returned and said “I went a little overboard and we can take 50% off”. Acceptable offer so I tried to make the best of it instead of having it remade.

Returned for the chili to go. I’m staying right across the parking lot. Went to my room to enjoy the chili and it was cold. Went back for a refund and was told no manager was there today and that I could leave my number and someone would call me the following day. Following day no call so I stopped in on my way home from work. Met the owner and he comped me a chili and baked potato. Cool.

Third time. The waiter appeared and seemed to be rushing us for the appetizer order after taking the drink order and I informed her that i just sat down and asked could she grab the drinks while we decide. She walks off with an attitude mumbling loud enough for us to hear her. Upon returning she says I was just giving you the energy you gave me. Unacceptable! My group tried to make light of the situation as we could see she was a young lady. We made jokes but I no longer wanted to eat at that point. When you’re spending this kind of money on meals you expect a certain level of professionalism. Not attitude because someone “felt” like your giving them attitude. Servers take drink orders, give you time to look at the menu, and answer questions you might have before “pressing” you about ordering. I felt rushed.

Then she switches our server which turned out to be her boyfriend. Our mashed potatoes were cold, the fries were cold. Sent two meals back. One was promptly warmed and I had to cancel mine because it took longer than I was comfortable with to get my food back.

This place has potential. Left a forty dollar tip for the “couple” but it was clear that these kids need to be retrained. I ordered mashed potato and asparagus with my pork leg and never got asparagus. He could have just rang it as an add on but no.

I can go on and on. The bartender took 20 minutes to make a Long Island.

I’ll go to Walt’s and cook my own steak before I go back here.

Food was great and the place was very clean and neat. The only downfall of our experience was the very loud music coming from the kitchen staff. We almost had to shout at eachother this morning when we were sitting across from eachother.

I had a great experience steak was cooked medium well, cooked just right no complaints very rich with flavor, the sides were good as well ordered the cheesecake that was on point as well our waiter was very nice and opted out my drink and came back with one that had a lil more kick to it Would definitely recommend them a little bit on the pricier side but I didn’t mind and when I went wasn’t too busy or over crowded which is a plus for me.
