Nice staff ? we had a big group without reservations and was seated with little wait. Food took a while to get to the table but was worth the wait.
Not a great experience here today. First off, I was the only customer in the restaurant so that was strange. I ordered a steak which came with a salad, potato and veggie. I asked what the veggie option was and he said “squash/zucchini medley.” So I asked if there were any other options. He said asparagus. So I said, “I’ll just skip the veggie, I don’t really want either.” And he goes “you sure you don’t want the asparagus” so I said “ok, sure” just to move on. I get the bill and there was a $2 up change on that asparagus. Which I clearly didn’t even want. My steak was ordered medium well and it was barely cooked medium. Red and chewy. And lastly, I sat there forever waiting for him to take my card which was on the table (he even cleared my plates and left the card on the table). He sat another family and took their drink orders while I’m just sitting there being held hostage at this point and can’t leave. Then he says- “you can pay me up here at the til.” Well, good to know 10 minutes later. Not great for a $37 meal for one person.
Permanently closed. Was my favorite pace to grab a mid-week nice dinner. Yes, the brussel sprouts were delicious. Salmon too. Walleye awesome. Too bad they are closed.
Everybody and their dog was trying to open something at one time. They are closing, will not be missed but, hey...there is a "Slim Chikins"! That makes up for everything, right, Klug? And there is that "Pizza H@t" that is owned by the Mayor and his Brother....built on public property. Just think.....there is always room for another Food Truck or Mexican Whatever....they pop up like Mosquitoes in the spring.
The hotel we stayed at suggested this restaurant since we wanted walleye. Our server was great. Wish I could remember his name. The fish was broiled instead of fried but was still tasty. My husband's asperagus was a bit underdone. I ordered a Bloody Mary and was brought a menu to choose the mix, vodka and what all I wanted added. It was VERY good but a little pricey. My husband loved his Margarita. For the 2 of us, 2 walleye dinners and a cocktail for each of us the bill was $88 before tip. Yes, there are alot of bird droppings on the sidewalk entryway.
Ordered a Bloody Mary, Caesar Salad, Baked Potato and Strip Steak Medium Rare with vegetables.Caesar Salad was good, potato was probably the best part of the entree. The steak was under seasoned and cooked improperly. Vegetables were average freezer veg. Bloody Mary was very good. Overall pricy meal for the quality
Service was very slow. We had to wait almost 20 minutes and remind two times for my dessert. Another 15 minutes for the check. We had Dinner there saturday 6/18/22
Been here an hour.. Took 25 mins for our food even tho the booth next to us got their food before we did even tho we arrived first.. Husband ordered chicken Alfredo but without the chicken?? The food was alright but didn’t stay for dessert because we didn’t want to stay an extra half hour for it. Towards the end, it took 10 mins just to get our ticket and pay..
The last three experiences I've had have been horrible. My last trip in on 03/18/2022 I got to have a $50 meal that was cold. After I was done I waited 15 minutes with an empty drink to finally get the check so I could pay and leave. The two times before I had the same waitress both times and she was the worst server I've ever had. Our drinks were empty more than they were full, she asked us what we wanted to eat before even bringing us menus or drinks. She brought us our food with no silver ware. Our waitress only came to our table to bring us our drinks, meal and the ticket. I have never paid so much for such low quality food and service. I will never be making this mistake again.
Nothing against the chefs or waitstaff, we had multiple items off the menu and all things considered it tasted great. My issue lies with them advertising and serving a wagyu steak for 75 dollars. not saying it isn’t wagyu but if it is it has to be lowest quality cut possible. I struggled to eat a few bites of it knowing whole heartedly it was a complete waste of money. I ate about 4 bites and ended up feeding the rest to my dogs.

Careful when you walk in the front door bird droppings all over the sidewalk and front door area. Very shallow local draft and wine selection. First local draft I chose they were out that left three to choose from. Went with the meatloaf it is a huge chunk just very average flavor, over mashed potatoes which were good the gravy was from a jar nothing special. The roasted asparagus was very tasty. Wait staff did a nice job.
Food is amazing! The drinks are perfect!
Our server was amazing! The bartender called off sick, but he did his best to attempt a cocktail for the first time anyways! Bravo ? ?. Food was delicious! Love the new menu!!!
Awesome steak great atmosphere
I paid for two orders of the mac and basically only received one because they gave me the smaller containers of it.Not worth almost $13 for this.
