Excellent Brewery and "campground". We stayed there overnight with our 37' MH on the way to visit relatives in Iowa. The beer was great and since we were there on happy hour, it was something like 2 beers for $4. We had the pizza and it was tasty, the bartender was the only one there and she was keeping up even though it was fairly busy. The only issue with staying there is the road and train noise, but its free, so no complaints!

Great brews, easy to get into and out of right off the highway. Bathrooms are neat and clean… with the absolute coolest toilet topper, I have ever seen!! Very friendly for dogs and kids. They even have an area that your kids can hang out and play with other kids. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are perfect. If you are just passing through town, talk to the locals in there ;they are amazing.

This has to be the best experience I’ve ever had at any brewery or restaurant. Joe and Crystal are fantastic, and the beer is top notch! And we had the most funny and informative tour ever! This brewery is reason enough to visit Nebraska.

Made a spontaneous stop during a crane-viewing trip. Never expected to find such a great brewery in a tiny dot of a town. Definitely worth visiting if you're within 30 miles, and have a designated driver. Or go to their Kearney taproom, or pick up some six-packs--which I learned are only distributed in Nebraska.

Kinda in the middle of Nebraska ish. This is the Thunderhead Brewery and tap house. Axtell Ne is your typical farming town except having its it's own high powered volume reproducing brewery. We really enjoyed the very decent priced to go cans and tap house prices plus A good selection. It was truly a nice stop we lucked into finding. Cheers

I had a wonderfully thorough tour here. They also let me try samples of all the great beer that they brew on sight there. All the canning and brewing happens at this location. I have seen both large and small groups accommodated here. It is an easy location to find as it is right off of US highway 6. The brew is not cheap but it's very good.
