I came 7 min after closing. Just so happen to be across the street dropping off a load. The owner Brenda opened the door and asked if I needed help. I told her I was starving. She said her grill was still hot and would be happy to feed me. Angels were walking with me. Not only did I eat one of the BEST BURGERS I’ve had in a long time. Her best friend (the person who unloaded me) informed me that I can use his bathroom and shower. I haven’t slept or showered in 48 hours. Barely ate. Thank the lord my prayers were answered. God is love. Love is all we have to live for. God bless this town as they did me. AMEN

Brendals is a must try, As a Mexican I could be picky, but this place tastes just like my mom's cooking so authentic and delicious. I love Mexican Friday. 🇲🇽🌯 also best skip the chains and go to Brendals 100% recommend!🍽

The Greene Machine band is in Bayard today! We were hungry. So we stopped in to get a bite to eat and we were pleasantly surprised. I especially recommend the jalapeño popper burger with bacon, cream cheese, and sautéed jalapeños, really good! No and of course with a side of mushrooms. Service is good. The atmosphere is what you would expect for a small town family diner, I will definitely eat here again the next time we are in Bayard, Nebraska.
