Me and my wife and Dorothy Myers stopped in to have lunch we had the Philly steak sandwich and Dorothy had a hamburger with deep fried onion chips... Basically you cut the onion in a flower type way and then you slice it then you dip them in batter and then you deep fry them and they're really good...
My wife and I stumbled upon this bar while traveling in the area. The sun had gone down and my wife was in need of a restroom. I noticed the sign shining in the night and pulled off the road and into the city of McGrew. The pink palace is truly pink. There were quite a few cars parked around the building for a town that maybe has 100 people so we knew this place must be popular. We entered and grabbed a couple of seats at the bar. The bar was very busy due to the Friday night...
The food is excellent. However, if you come on prime rib nite - only order the prime rib or you will be waiting for your dinner while everyone else in your party is eating (by the time I got my rib eye, everyone else was done & I ended up taking my food to go)!
