I have heard many good things about this restaurant but was never able to make it to their Clatonia location. Now they are even farther away from where I live so unfortunately I will not be able to dine here very often, but I most definitely will from now on whenever I am near Beatrice. I'm glad it finally worked out to be in town at lunchtime as I wanted to give it a try. The restaurant is divided into two sections, the main dining room and the bar area. Both are decorated differently and have different seating arrangements. Overall, it is not nearly as big as expected. The dining room has a pleasant upscale decor while the bar area is rather plain and could use more decoration. They have a large selection on the menu. Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS!!!! Especially the sauces. Dishes we observed at other tables looked very pleasing also. Portion sizes were very filling although it was odd that entrees did not include a vegetable. I was unaware that they had a salad bar until I walked past it on the way to the restroom. It was VERY ODD that it is not listed on the menu and our server did not mention it to us, so I assume it was not included with the entrees. We wouldn't have had room for salad with our meals anyway. Our server seemed just a little mixed up or I would have given five stars.

The owner is friendly, good food and best salad bar. Love the crab salad. Original chicken recipe. Miss it being in Clatonia, but hope it's going well for him in beatrice

As I said, salad bar is very good. Outstanding desserts. I especially like their homemade fruit pies. Food is excellent with owner Ron Tegtmeier doing his best to make your dining experience a great one. Decor is very nice. Like stepping into a different world from the mall to the restaurant. Great staff.

In from Omaha on business, Legend's was suggested for its Red Snapper. The Red Snapper was excellent as well as the Spinach Artichoke dip. The decor is cozy and friend. The service provided was outstanding complete with the owner visiting each table with warm friend stories.

Service was amazing, salad bar has many home made salad options including potato salad, seafood salad, coleslaw, broccoli salad, and regular salad. Steak was cooked perfectly and everything was fresh! Great recommendation from Sally! The pie was also just as amazing, being hand made! Great food and service all around!

If only Legends provided a nice-sized salad plate, as they once did in their small-town location, their business would thrive. Last time we were there the "salad plate" was saucer-sized.

Best home made food ever had! Im.a good cook and this was better than my home cooking. Taking husband there for lunch. Woeth the 40 miles to drive for lunch.Loved fancy atimosphere too. Wish Lincoln NE had that nice of a restraunt!

Jake, I was your server at legends last night. I apologize for your experience. I was expecting a party of 7 and had the reservation set up for 7 as we had other larger parties in the restaurant as well so moving a booth table, another square table to the round table we had reserved wouldn’t have worked. We accommodated to you all the best we could with very little respect when your party ended up doubling without notice. I was clear at the beginning about splitting checks with larger parties. It’s just like having 12 separate tables when I had other customers to attend to as well. I’m a single mother of 3 and I enjoy serving very much at legends and appreciate all my customers. God bless and have a great day!
