Had a busy and quite the heavy hearted day, needed to find a place after driving for a while that served pasta(my comfort food) and a drink, so I decided to check out The Black Crow for the first time by myself. I called the restaurant beforehand for menu inquiries, they were so kind over the phone and read over the menu for me as well. I ended up going inside to wait and sat at the bar while having the best hour long conversation with Kate and the rest of the staff that was much needed. I was treated with such kindness, an incredible cocktail, very friendly service, very affordable prices and the BEST pasta for later when I got home. Lovely, 10/10 service and I will be returning often with friends and family!
Food was well prepared, but tasteless. Definitely deficient in the flavor department. Louisiana bake had little to no cajun spice. Steak was swimming in some sort of juice, and still managed to be dry. Folks were nice and servers were great, but the food left a lot to be desired. Also, world famous bread pudding tasted like burnt sugar.

Amazing food, great service. Don't skip the cocktails menu they are all well thought out and delicious. Save room for dessert you'll regret not trying at least one!

Service was great! Nice atmosphere. Food was totally too salty for me. If you are sensitive to salt. Beware.
Addition, they want a review, then, they rip on you when you give one. NEVER going there again!

I’m leaving a 5 star review for two reasons. One, the food and service were great. Two, to counter Misti Zimmerman who left a 1 star review and never even ate there. BTW, to the owner, I reported that review to Google for you as “Off Topic”. If that doesn’t work you might try reporting it as “Not Helpful”. Google is usually quick to remove stupid reviews like that one from people who clearly just like to harm small businesses.

Food was delicious, server was wonderful. It was quite warm inside, but it was also a very hot day outside.

My food was greasy and dry. The potatoes were disgusting. Staff was extremely friendly but the food was abismal. I had a ribeye steak that had 1 inch of rubbery fat on one side and your garlic pesto mashed potatoes were pasty and nasty. My husband had the duck which was overcooked and dry with some of the nastiest mashed sweet potatoes I've ever had the misfortune to have. The staff was extremely polite courteous and friendly but the food was not good. Taste is subjective and if you have any you won't eat here

This place is a hidden gem. They have been in business in this small town in Nebraska for over 30 years and the food, service and atmosphere are amazing.. Their prices are also very reasonable although it could compete with restaurants in a much bigger city. I was just traveling through but was so happy to come upon it.

I have work here and I consider them as family. they are very nice people. and they would help you any kind of way. all they ask is integrity and loyalty. they are great to be around . There food is great and love there personality. They have gave me a second chance and they have gave me a job . they are down to earth and would take there shirt off there back . I am not just saying I have lived it and seen it. there kids are great and they are even very nice. They are like any other kind of family . they very old school. When they let you in they treat you like family . they will sit down and talk to you and let you in there heart. For this I recommend this message 😆 🤣 😂. No really I recommend this place to eat if you are looking for a fancy place to eat but don't want to dress up to fancy.

The Black Crow never disappoints. The food and drinks (especially an extensive wine list and a knowledgeable staff) are exquisite. Not only have I been a customer since they opened, but I have also been a waitress there during HS, college and beyond. Perfect option for so many situations...date night, treating family or friends, or just grabbing a quick dessert, adult beverage, or pizza. They elegantly have it all covered.
We walked, and it was a nice place. We were going to have to wait to be seated. We were given glasses of water and menus to look at. The prices were extremely expensive for a place in Beatrice. Maybe for a special occasion or maybe for those who have the money to spend but for a family of 5 who just wanted good food at a good price. It was WAY out of our league, so we left. We could drive to Lincoln and get a good steak meal for all of us and it still would've been cheaper. Maybe, think that NOT everyone can pay those prices. And by the looks of it you can't take constructive criticism too well, that shows alot to the people reading the reviews! Most places, reply with "I'm sorry you had a bad experience etc" Instead you choose to berate the people leaving the comments! DO BETTER!

We were told we could wait at the bar while they got our table ready. No one came to the bar to take our drink order. I ordered the ribeye and I have had thicker bacon with more flavor than the ribeye had.
