Stopped for Sunday brunch buffet when passing through Beatrice. Pizza was what you expect for Val's pizza, distinctly unique sauce that is always delicious. Brunch buffet had biscuits and gravey, bacon and scrambled eggs, as well as fried chicken, mashed potatoes and white gravey. I had nit has Vals Sunday brunch in a decade, and it was just as good as I remembered.

My one star goes to how nice the inside the building was and how nice the people were but for $15 a buffet with no chicken no veggies no fruits no mashed potatoes or gravy no ribs ??? And there was crickets on there floors. I feel they should lower the price to at least $10 for how little of choices they have for a buffet especially only two or three different kinds of pizzas compared to anyone other Valentino’s buffet have ever been too this one was the worst. Do not recommend.
Lovely atmosphere with cozy fun vibes and decor. Very comfortable seating. Food was ok. Ladies room had water all over the floors 😬. Front staff at door wasn't extremely helpful on menu or options when entering. No greeting.

Valentino's is a Nebraska original, founded in Lincoln in 1957. Used to get all the raves but seems to have declined over the years. It's been 20 years since I'd been to one, and my first visit to this location. I will say this: their building is colorful and had characterw, but needs some work. The 3 employees that I interacted with were friendly and helpful, which always is a big plus for me. Minutes after I put in my online order, I got a call back, saying they were out of one topping I specified. Could I choose another? I appreciated that. The pizza was kind of doughy, as I remember it being years ago. For some reason, the flavors of the toppings seemed to run together. As a whole it wasn't bad but I've had far better. The killer was the price. I know, since Covid, everything costs more. But double, $20 for a little 10 inch pizza with a few toppings? Come on. So I rate it average at best, and that was because of the good customer service experience I had.

First off they don't deliver anymore. Restaurant is very shabby. I will dive to Lincoln to any of the Valentino's from now on.
Went for lunch after church. They food was good. And plenty to eat at the buffet.
