Went in for breakfast, not our first time. It’s the same every time. I get that the server was swamped, but we waited 45 mins for some microwaved sausage gravy and eggs with hash browns and a sausage patty. Not one check in, not one sorry for the wait. No acknowledgement whatsoever. To top it off the orange juice was spoiled and tasted of kombucha. Each experience has been less than pleasant. I hate to leave a bad review, but to the waitress, you could’ve at least acknowledge our existence. Shouldn’t have left a tip at all.

Typical small town bar and grill with above average food! The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect, but my oh my! The food is so good. Onion rings are a must! Hand battered at the time you order. Quesadilla is amazing, so are the burgers. Got the Swiss chicken melt, also soooo good. If you're out towards the Beemer area, and looking for a spot to eat, look no further!

The Hay Barn is a great place to eat. It's typical small town bar and feel. The mushroom/swiss hamburger was great and loved the fries. A lot of food. The staff was helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place if you're driving through Beemer.

ONION RINGS !!!! I heard they have hand made onion rings. FYI, only served after 5pm. They are 100% hand cut, hand battered, and fried when you order them. They were awesome. I'd skip dinner, just to eat them. Burger was great. Staff was super super friendly. And it has a bumbwaiter... if you dont know what it is, google it. It is an antique wooden elevator to the basement. Will definitely be back.

I've seen this place in beamer Nebraska for years. This is a cozy small town place. I came here to visit family members. I'm from chicago. And I walked in here a few times before. I've never drank in here before. But on the day that I went in here we had a hot beef sandwich. I haven't had a hot beef sandwich and I don't know how long. But my aunt and I were the first ones in here like about noon. And then about 15 minutes later all of the working folk came in and the place quickly filled up. So you know we walked out of there feeling satisfied. And I'd recommend this place. It's very quaint.

My husband and I stopped in to eat on a Friday night as we were traveling through. We love stopping at small town restaurants and were craving a burger and beer. We ordered a Bleu burger with fries and a Patty Melt with fries. As we were waiting, a waitress was patting out REAL hamburgers that were HUGE! Needless to say, we both said that it was the best burger/patty melt that we have ever had. It is a cute small town bar and the prices were very reasonable. We have already told several friends about it and will be stopping in again this weekend! Shannon and Marcia Kelly

My first impression was of a drunk at the bar making rude comments about my spouse. After a few words between us he apologized. Only reason we were there is there isn't much of a selection for places to eat on a Sunday in the middle of nowhere.Waitstaff was friendly and the food was edible.
