Our family loves runza and goes there all the time, and our kids get kids meals and the service worker told us we could use the free ice cream coupon for a cookie because they don’t do well with ice cream. Then when we came back to redeem the coupons, again the worker told us that it’d be no problem to give us cookies instead, but then the manager came over and acted like it was a huge deal and insist we pay the $3 and let our coupons go to waste? Was very odd.

There is only one other family in here. Huge table but still that’s it for inside.
When my food was given to me I didn’t even have my chili. Just a cinnamon roll. I wasn’t given drink cups. I had to ask.
I had to go back up and ask for my chili
The table behind me also voiced they were missing a lottt of items.
There is no excuse for this. Hire competent people

Iconic Nebraska fast food restaurant. Unfortunately I think it's over valued and expensive. They no longer have a large fry, all servings are the same small portions . The combo meals consistently leave me hungry. It's more like a pricey $11-15 snack. 10/24 came in a little before 4pm. Ordered an original runza combo and it took over 15 min to receive, dine in, when there was only 1 person that ordered in front of me. I watched the drive through cycle quickly. Didn't get a cup with my order right away. No one was available to take my order. I was forced to enter digitally on their tablet. The tablet did not provide me with a paper receipt upon completion of my order. It did prompt me for PII instead. Frings did not come with the fring sauce.

In no way am I blaming the employees as they are always nice and the store is always clean. However, as we see with Most other fast food places the prices and portions are out of control ,however, i feel Runza will need to start offering deals as the other fast food competitors are....we ordered one scoop ice cream and upon receiving it...OMGGGGG.. it truly filled only 25% of the SMALL cup...that is it. We saw this with the chicken salad as well so no more Runza...it is strange that Runza does not offer more deals for the day or week??? I actually feel the challenges businesses now have so raise the price as these type of portions are an insult. Nothing against the owners or employees but time will address this one way or another

Passing through so I googled unique Omaha fast and Runza popped up just as I was passing one. Decided to give it a try. Not sure what came first, the name of the sandwich, but I decided on their namesake the Runza, more specifically the spicy jack Runza. Cheesesteak, Jack cheese, bacon, and jalapenos on their self-made roll. This would lead to my one critique of the restaurant, their menu board doesn't show this sandwich, in fact it shows three of about 10 possibilities just for the Runza. Fortunately the lady at the counter taking my order walked me through all the options. Obviously as someone new to this restaurant, and anyone that goes into one of these should use their web page or their available app to see a complete menu cuz it is actually very extensive.
The food was very interesting and tasty. The right amount of spice, the cheese steak itself tasted really good and the role was fresh I enjoyed the entire meal. As an outsider I was impressed eating somewhere uniquely Omaha.
As I already mentioned, the lady take him I'll order was phenomenal so the service was really great as I needed explanations. Restaurant was clean, so overall a very good experience.

This runza is one of the best in omaha! Almost all runzas are good but this one goes above and beyond. Fast and good service the fries are always crispy and salty. The burgers are always good. Keep it up!

I have waited many times to write a review about this location in hopes that I just had a bad batch but every single time I come here I’m more and more disappointed. Their fries are ALWAYS soggy, the cabbage is not cooked and there is giant chunks of it in my runza, their dip portions are small, their popcorn chicken is stale, and their chicken tenders are just scraps. I have never once been pleased by their food or service as all of the workers are extremely unfriendly. I will not be a returning customer any longer.
Worst Runza’s in Omaha the cabbage and bread was very undercooked. Not sure if the ground beef was fresh. 6/19 at approx 1430

I’m very fair with my reviews and I try to be as honest and respectful as possible. However, sometimes honesty hurts….. It literally felt like everyone working 06/10/25 @ 11:30am, had the question “Are you slow?” on the application. The lady literally took 7 minutes to do 3 ice cream cones! The two guys working the drive thru were babies that were confused to say the least. NEVER AGAIN! I’d rather drive the extra 6 miles to the Maple Rd location where people move and operate the restaurant with a sense of urgency!
