If you want to experience home cooking, local culture and a community meeting place, then drive to Gross, NE. Population = 2. The owners are dedicated to keeping this place in operation through good food and friendships. Tuesdays the special is Indian Tacos and home-made pies. The pecan pie was OUTSTANDING!!!! Hunters love this place in the fall.

Love it! Mike and Mary are just plain awesome!! The food is wonderful, not everyday that kids are wanting a gross burger. But I'm willing to drive the miles for a hearty meal!!!
Population 2.
It's a charming local place. (If you don't know the place you would never go looking for it.) The building is somewhat decrepit, it's clean but our table was sticky from worn out varnish. Their sign was propped up against the front of the building. There's a separating crack on one side of the building. Don't worry about finding it in town. Just look for all the pick up trucks parked around it....
