Nice place and great help working there but food was expensive and not very good. The prime rib comes in two sizes small and large. It should have said small and really small. Meat was also very tough even served medium rare. Potatoes weee cold and baked potato wouldn’t even melt butter. I expected more for a $45 meal.
My husband would give this restaurant a 4 because his Reuben was better than most. But my Cobb salad came up short. It was made with a bagged iceberg mix rather than romaine. The chicken was freshly grilled which is ideal, but the bacon and tomatoes were not very flavorful. We had a molten chocolate dessert which was not as hot as you usually find.
We spent the day driving the Sandhills Hghwy 2 through Nebraska ending up Sunday night in Broken Bow. We had little hope of a great meal. Most eateries were closed. In fact, at 7 pm, TripAdvisor even said Bonfire was closed but as we drove by we saw activity so in we went. It wasn't crowded and was a pleasant restaurant and bar.
