It's the only restaurant in a 50 mile radius, so keep that in mind. The variety is not great. If you order off the menu there's only like 5 selections. We got the buffet, and though there is not a lot of different things, each item is homemade and absolutely delicious. We also ate there on Easter, and same thing. Each item tasted fantastic.

I had the beef brisket burger, which was so spectacular it briefly made me question all my past burger choices. My wife, meanwhile, tucked into a chicken salad croissant with the air of someone who had just discovered a new and better reason for living.

We drove down on a Friday and was very disappointed to find you closed.
We were there with a large group (20+) and there was another group of similar size there that same night, on top of several other smaller parties. They handled it all great! Food was great! Cool Place!

Great home town place with a
cozy feel. Food was delicious with quick service. Had the smoked brisket sandwich.. pea salad reminded me of childhood.
Had dinner here, after riding the Steamboat Trace between Brownville and Peru. Salmon was good side dishes and salad bar were great to. Always impressed by Brownvilles' historic district. Rulo needs to step it up!
Everything about it..
Excellent food and service
We arrived when the Lyceum opened on Sat. night for the prime rib buffet so my husband could get an end piece since that is his favorite. The server cut the end piece, told me it was too large & would not serve it to my husband. He did not offer to cut it in two or or serve the other end of the prime rib. We always liked the food & service in the past, but this was a real disappointment! We'll not have the prime rib buffet again.
