We drove down on a Friday and was very disappointed to find you closed.

We were there with a large group (20+) and there was another group of similar size there that same night, on top of several other smaller parties. They handled it all great! Food was great! Cool Place!

Great home town place with a
cozy feel. Food was delicious with quick service. Had the smoked brisket sandwich.. pea salad reminded me of childhood.

Had dinner here, after riding the Steamboat Trace between Brownville and Peru. Salmon was good side dishes and salad bar were great to. Always impressed by Brownvilles' historic district. Rulo needs to step it up!

We arrived when the Lyceum opened on Sat. night for the prime rib buffet so my husband could get an end piece since that is his favorite. The server cut the end piece, told me it was too large & would not serve it to my husband. He did not offer to cut it in two or or serve the other end of the prime rib. We always liked the food & service in the past, but this was a real disappointment! We'll not have the prime rib buffet again.

Super friendly service, reasonable prices and above all - great food. We had a great meal sitting outdoors on the front in the shade in a bright sunny day listening to the birds and enjoying our meal. We highly recommend visiting this place, it's a welcome stop on your travels and the town is such a pleasant place.

Parking: There's no issue finding a spot to park right outside.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and will enjoy their meal.

The Lyceum is the perfect restaurant for a friendly atmosphere and delicious food. The staff is extremely friendly and always greet you with a smile!! It a place where hometown folks always run into one another. The homemade desserts are out of this world. Their prime rib is moist and delicious. Their buffet is always full of delicious salads, main and side dishes. They offer daily specials that you may order off the menu. They prepare take out meals for those on the go. Please go visit these hardworking and friendly folks!! There is also plenty of seating in this hometown restaurant.

Ate at their Saturday Prime Rib buffet. They have a 'single trip' or 'all you can eat' option for the prime rib. Took the single trip. Salad bar was all you can eat and had many delicious salads. For dessert I wanted to have the triple chocolate fluff pie, but they had just served the last piece. The wonderful waitress scraped a spoonful out of what was left in the pan and brought it to me. ? Will definitely reserve a piece upon arri al next time.
