“Because this course is so far west, it does not get enough recommendations. It helped that I played on a beautiful night, and there was very little traffic, but this course is absolutely Gorgeous. It is difficult and well designed and the lake in the backdrop is an added bonus. I had no idea There were so many cabins and such a large clubhouse and pro shop out here. I will definitely play this course again on my way out to Colorado. There are holes out there that will rival dismal river, CapRock Ranch, and, Prairie Club. This course reminds me a lot of Tatanka in northeast Nebraska. Highly underrated, and probably under-played.  The pro shop had more hats than any pro shop I’ve ever been in and the staff was extremely helpful. I read some of the other reviews and my only guess would be that this place has had a hard time finding help. If you can deal with a few small Housekeeping issues and just admire the course, I think you will enjoy it. “

“WOW! We were In the area for a family reunion and on a Thursday night we all went to Hooks.It was a busy night, yet the ladies handled all of us just like the Pros they are. Drinks were never ending and our food was timely and amazing. We never wanted for anything. From the youngest to the eldest, our party had an enjoyable experience.The establishment is clean and prices are very fair.The bathrooms are even inviting and welcoming. Cute decor??“
