Personally this is the place I try to come to everyday (or when I can) to have time with God by myself, or Christian Fellowship, enjoying the company of everyone who comes into this Coffee Shop, as a Born Again Christian this year (January 1st 2025) this is the place where I feel God strongest in my life. As it's a very Positive Place & Continuing To Have A Place Like This To Continue Growing My Faith In God & Le 3 In 1!! Praise God For This Business & Bless the Peeps who work here!! If you are visiting and just want a Place where it's very friendly & positive & Christian Based & Just Peaceful, from someone (Me) who has lived here ever since she was 3 Years Old (I am now 30) PLEASE COME VISIT!!! And if you're out of town & just stopping by or vacationing here for the summer this place is extremely Peaceful!! 😊🙏✝️

I usually venture out only during the months when the weather is nice. The Hub is a place I like to go when I want to see or visit with positive people. I haven't had a meal here but sure do love their customizable menu of coffee and ice cream based beverages! Fun to be able to add an espresso shot to a milkshake after working in the garden.
Parking: Usually super quick service unless there is a big activity going on in town. Since they make my order from scratch I may have to wait 5 minutes but the atmosphere is inviting and there's always interesting things to look at. The building itself is a local historic landmark and the owners seem genuinely happy to serve us 'locals' as well as visitors.
Kid-friendliness: I don't have kids but I think I would be perfectly comfortable taking children there. Certainly nothing objectionable and the staff I've seen are young and very nice. No worries about children being exposed to foul language.

Charming place to stop for ice cream, coffee, and a little atmosphere peppered with Jesus, located on an old-fashioned historic town Square. Not the fastest barista on the world but very friendly.
Has become a family tradition everytime we camp at Calamus. Great prices and amazing service. Even got frosted mugs for the can sodas!

Nutritious! Delicious! Sumptuous! Extravagant! So mouth watering that we feasted there all day Saturday and camped outside The Hub main door until they opened up the next day (jk)! We were amazed by the meticulous care and attention-to-detail given to the preparation of the largest and most delicious banana split ever to be created by humankind (see attached). Very reasonable prices too, for everything. If I'm ever in the Burwell area again, we will definitely stop by again. I recommend this place highly to anyone craving a sweet treat. The Hub is the Epitome of heavenly delights, serving culinary dishes prepared by the best UNL Agri-business university-trained specialists!
