We had a large group in the back room and the service, food and everything thing was top notch. The manager went all out that created a very personal touch.

Now Dec 2025 update, I would like to say something nice, but even the waitress was not as attentive this time around. The Melt was burnt, served Luke warm, so we're the onion rings. I like my food hot. Sad, small town, limited options. All ours foods were served something hot, something warm, something cold. Party of 5.

Wine tasting room is cozy, with a nice selection of wine to taste. They have a select menu, and do a nice job. The other side (Country Kitchen) has a great breakfast with lots of menu options. Affordable.

Second time stopping here on our way through Chadron. First time had very good service and the food was decent. Yesterday was not good. Shown to a booth and was told someone would be with us soon. Spent over 15 minutes sitting there with no service, not even a glass of water while other customers who entered after us were waited on. We ended up leaving (no one noticed) and going somewhere else to eat. Will not stop here again.

Great spot to eat, super friendly staff and great food!
The waitress was so bad. We come in a about once a week and each of the last 3 times it gets worst and worst. It started with the Buffett being cold/barley warm. Then this last visit was the last straw for us. The waitress dropped/tipped my butter and it landed upside down on the table. She had The audacity and say “The table is clean I promise” I’m not gonna use a butter that flipped upside down and that touched the table. I was hoping she was just joking about the table being clean and using it but she was being 100% serious and wanted me to use it. I will be not going back after this time
