Ordered the taco salad and was pleased with presentation but the beans and ground beef was so salty. Daughter was happy with her burger though. Waitress was nice and prices are reasonable.

After 30 minutes of waiting at the table after we got drinks, I went to find our waitress. We asked if we could order and she apologized for forgeting us. Ok, annoying but it happens. Then we orderes and an hour later we got the appetizers. They were ok. Then my sushi roll came. Soggy, flavorless, and tiny. My husbands food still wasn't there. As I finished up his came. It looked terrible, a bright red pile of chicken and veggies and a scoop of rice that looked dry, but he started eating. As he lifted his second fork of rice a long hair stretched from the rice to his fork. He immediately put down his fork amd we went up and told the host what was gping on. She took his meal off and we left. Just go next door to Arby's and save yourself the trouble.

Generous portions and eclectic menu selections. Not so much the fusion of foods and flavors I was expecting, rather a hodgepodge of Mexican, Chinese, and Thai with a few Sushi rolls on the menu.All that being said, the Asada Tacos where very good.

What a surprise!! We had been traveling for hours and needed 1) something the entire family would eat [mom, dad, four kids ages 14 to 4] and 2) a place that wasn't fast food but that would tolerate rambunctious, travel-weary kids. Far West fit the bill, and the bill was half as much as we've had to pay recently!!! What they saved on curb appeal, they passed on to customers! We had our doubts when we pulled into the parking lot (and they probably had their doubts seeing our obnoxious little ones), but we left full and happy! My husband said it was the best burger he had had in weeks. It was in my top 5 burgers of all time (I had a chili burger with a side of fried rice = AMAZING combo! Try it! and he had the classic burger with fries). One daughter loved the BLT and another the chips and salsa. The littles shared pad Thai and enjoyed using chop sticks for the first time. What an eclectic mix and perfect for our family (and it tasted good too). If we ever come back here, we'll definitely eat here again.Oh, and the service was friendly and the food was fast. Super important with antsy kids. Thank you!!!

Had the chicken red curry and chicken panang curry with the medium heat and both were excellent. The service was efficient and speedy. Really appreciated good Thai food.

I have to say I give this restaurant five stars and a round of applause I think they do excellent on Mexican food I mean they’re there enchiladas are authentic I mean they taste good and their burritos are to die for I come in for the California burrito and oh my God do I love it I think God for them every time I come in That is one of my favorite places to eat up they have hosts that are very pleasant and kind considerate. If you have any problems or dress him right away they won’t wait if you need specialty you need to order if it’s for a special surprise, a specific way, or a special way they will do that I mean they go out of their way to make it homey to make you feel welcome and loved their parking is so easy for me to navigate. I am totally blind and they have the most easiest way for us to get up and down off the curve. They really don’t have a curve in it’s a little bump and a small I mean up a straight path, a little curvature, but straight path to the door and I enjoy it , I would recommend this restaurant to anybody and everybody that comes to Chadron .”The only complaint I have because sometimes I want to go eat out on Sundays they’re not open on Sundays or Mondays. I wish I could be open all the time but I know they can’t that’s just a dream, but thank you far west for being there for us all.

This by far is the best place to get Mexican food , it has flavor and just plain good.

I come to Chadron 1-2 times a year for work. I usually eat at Far West several times on each trip. The food is exceptionally good. I never found Thai food this good when I was living in Lincoln or Omaha. And Lincoln has some really good ethnic restaurants.Today I ordered a dine-in meal AND a take-out meal. My only regret is that I don’t want to embarrass myself by licking the plate in the restaurant — the Panang Curry was THAT good!

The (hot) panang curry is AMAZING. We also love their Crab Rangoon and tempura roll. The service is efficient but sometimes the food trickles out slowly. Worth the wait but be prepared.
