Lulu's Primetime Steakhouse

Stopped in for a steak dinner and had a really great meal.

Stopped in on Saturday evening, January 18,2020.The place looked closed but tried door, found it was open. The one employee had us sit ourselves, took drink order and delivered quickly. Took food order did great job on 4 steaks salads and sides. All 4 of us enjoyed all of our meals. I will be going back!!!!

Our barrel race group of 4 stopped here saturday evening, January 5 2020, about 730pm. In past several stops during same time area, the parking lot and inside was packed with customers having amazing prime rib and other choices. We had called ahead and confirmed open. This time...parking lot is empty and business appears shut down. One pickup out front. As we enter, there are 2 guys having a beer at the small bar, and the bartender. Noone else. All the several rooms are mostly closed up and appear as storage. We all 4 have the steak special and baked potatoes. 3 of us have salads. I did not. Well...we all agreed this was as good a steak as ANY restaurant puts out.

I love to support local places and can accept some quirkiness that can come along with them. However, this place freaked me out. I don't understand how it passes health inspections, there are piled up dishes everywhere with flies landing on your food. We ordered our steaks medium rare but they came out raw. I thought they smelled a bit rancid. The croutons on the salad were good as another reviewer stated, but my ranch dressing looked like milk and oil poured on lettuce. yuck. Don't take your kids here.

Not what you'd expect from looking at the outside. Wonderful homey feel on the inside. Great service. Excellent food. Salad was great with homemade croutons. I'd recommend the prime rib. Exceptionally good.

Noticed that the most of the reviews are 3-5 years ago. My wife and I recently dined at Lulu's on a Saturday evening and ordered Prime-rib, their Saturday evening special. It would absolutely lousy. We were the only two people in the entire place dining. It was even during the evening dinner hour (supper time), and nobody else came in or left the joint to do the same. That should have been a late warning, right there. All I can say.... "It's not Lulu's anymore! How terrible. We have eaten here before, but a long time ago. We will not be back or have the nerve to recommend to anyone else. We wouldn't have the nerve to do so. Quite honestly, one-star is overdoing it.
