Grew up the daughter of a truck driver so truck stops were where we always stopped on road trips. Brought back great memories since my husband and I were on a road trip to see family. Met them there for breakfast and although it was busy, we had great time for conversation. Food was fantastic! Only downside is that they don't have Apple Barrel in Missouri where we live.

I stumbled on this restaurant while searching bbq online. It offers a mix of American foods, including BBQ, burgers, steaks, and all-day breakfast. The setting was more diner-like up close.The service, handled by a lone waitress, was commendable given she was working by herself. However, the food was a letdown. The burnt ends, which I usually love, were a disappointment here – overly burnt and with an old meat smell. The beans were subpar, but the onion rings were surprisingly good. Although the prices were low, the quality of the burnt ends reflected this, proving again that you often get what you pay for.Overall, I was hoping for a great experience, especially since BBQ joints at gas stations tend to be good. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. I wouldn't recommend the burnt ends, but perhaps the breakfast might be worth trying, as it's harder to go wrong with that.

We have never had a chicken fried steak with gravy before so we thought we would try this restaurant! The meal was fantastic and so much food! It is a sit down restaurant and has a good variety of foods. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. Our waiter told us we were the first Canadians he had ever met! Such a friendly guy. We would definitely eat here again and would recommend it.

Service lacked, one server had issues keeping up with 4 tables. The cook came out and took my order. Ordered a bacon cheese burger.... literally disintegrated as soon as I tried to put it in my hands. $12 for a burger that looked like someone threw it in the garbage before serving. No seasoning to the burger at all.
Always have smiling staff,great breakfast as well as the portions,usually only 15mins. Until you're eating & the coffee keeps a coming.Great place to stop.Parking: It could be trying to find parking shared with employees and a car wash.Not sure I try to park a vehicle with the tractor trailers in the yard.

Would give a 0 review if I was able to. Never had someone be so rude just walking in.We came in and tried to sit down to eat. Sign when you walk in says sit yourself at any seat available that js clean and the server was super rude and told us that we couldn't sit at a 6 person table when there was only 4 of us. Was going to make us move with my 82 year old grandmother who has a hard time walking.Both the ladies working was very rude about it. Said all the people table's that has 6 chairs are reserved. No one was waiting to sit down. It was only us 4 and another couple that was there. Not like there was a line waiting to sit down.Shouldn't have a sign that says sit where any table is available
