Was a real long wait, my meal only came with three onion rings. Waitress was super nice and the restaurant was nice, organized and clean. I just feel that my portions should have been more for what I payed.

Take my 3 star rating on the food with a grain of salt...we both had the ribeye with mushrooms. Cooked perfectly, but I felt my steak lacked seasoning. I could taste pepper, but not any salt...which is all I think a good steak needs. My wife's steak quality was a little better than mine as I had some issues with the fat cap. Maybe a little bit of precook trimming could have save me from having that left on my plate.
My hashbrowns were way too greasy and barely browned and my wife's baked potato was old...we were at the latter part of dinner service...something they might have paid attention to. Rest of the sides were delightful...corn, salad, spaghetti and brocolli soup..enjoyed each.
Service was excellent from front to back. Hopefully our next trip will be earlier in the day and we can upgrade the review.

My husband and I decided to dine at Husker House for his belated birthday ! Boy did we get to have a great meal! Everything was delicious. Pleasant staff. Just top notch prime rib! We will be back soon.

I was pleasantly surprised. The portions were large and satisfying. They actually serve homemade food. The chicken fried steak was hand breaded and large. They had steak fingers as an appetizer. I thought those only existed in Idaho!!! I got spaghetti along with my baked potato, wow, never had that before! The salad was large and the blue cheese dressing was homemade too. The service was top notch. The decore felt like I was stepping back into the 70s. Can't decide if that was a good thing. Lol. Overall very impressed.

My husband and I went here for the first time. They had duck as one of the specials, and it was a great meal at a great price. I would recommend this restaurant to all of our friends. We live about 45 minutes away, and we plan on going back and trying the steak. The wait staff were awesome as well. The restaurant itself could use some updates, but we weren't there to visit the building, we were there to eat the food. Great food at a good price!
