The food here is awesome, the portions are huge for the price and it’s a great place to hang out especially on Thursday nights for the Apace meat raffle fund raiser. John Micek is great for hosting the raffle and the money goes to a good cause! Stop on in, lots of wonderful customers.
I stopped by to grab lunch before a meeting in town. Had a fantastic Reuben sandwich and some pretty stellar onion rings. This has an old school small town bar feel which I love. The bartender was very friendly and helped me figure out where to order food, etc. (Pretty clear I'm from out of town). Great stop, and I'd love to come again when I can have a proper drink.
Mostly everything was great especially the burgers BUT they really should stop trying to pass their salty pot roast off as brisket!So lesson learned, don't order the so called brisket.
