This was one of our final Nebraska Passport stops for 2024, and we were pleasantly surprised about the quality of service, quality of the food and the Passport deal we received! The music being played in the sanctuary was a bit overbearing, but all else was top notch.

I was first introduced to The Broken Mug last year when a friend brought me some lunch from the cafe. The food is amazing! I still remember the first bite of the beautiful salad with big juicy chunks of fresh and flavorful chicken breast accompanied with beautiful and colorful fresh veggies drizzled in the most addictive green goddess dressing I have ever tasted. The food is not exotic, you will not find anything unusual on the menu, however, the quality and care that clearly goes into every dish is what puts The Broken Mug in a class by itself! They offer a variety of true comfort food made from the absolute freshest and finest ingredients. Every dish I have tried is special not only for the quality of the food but for the skill with which it is prepared, combining flavors and textures that make an ordinary salad or sandwich a very special treat. On mother's day weekend, my sweet husband brought me breakfast in bed from The Broken Mug - He could not have done better choosing a gift to make me feel loved and happy. We are truly fortunate to have this amazing locally owned cafe in our town. If you haven't tried The Broken Mug you are truly missing out!
