Perfect place to stop for some lunch when passing through. The burgers are great. Lots of options for shakes and just an all around great little spot. If you're passing through I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

This little roadside ice cream shop is absolutely wonderful. Incredibly friendly staff, that reminds me why I moved to Nebraska in the first place. The food is freshly made, all fresh ingredients, and the home made ranch dressing is to die for! *chefs kiss* Seriously I had to damn near smack my own hand to stop dipping everything on my plate in it! The ice cream serving portions are HUGE, and delicious. Best Banana Split I've ever had hands down (and this is coming from a former dairy queen employee). AND they were reasonably priced! Will definitely be a lifelong customer!
Kid-friendliness: Brought my 4 year old in with me, and they absolutely doted on her. They don't have a kids menu, but their sides are just the right size to make a perfect kids meal.

Don’t be fooled by the crackedity sign! Far and away Nebraska finest ambiance cafe. Little disappointed they don’t take reservations but plenty seating at the picnic tables which have recently been updated with new boards. Great place to go on a blind date, multiple escape routes out the parking lot if things aren’t going well but if she’s a keeper there’s the “Sweet Retreat” one room motel. No need to get a large on the Twister, even the small size is a gut buster amount of thick ice cream. The staff are easy going and can give you directions to the nearest gas station.
