Called Crete subway at 7:30pm letting them know I am bringing a basketball team in the next day between 9:45-10am. They could not serve 18 people with me giving them a heads up. She said they would not have enough time to make the bread. Apparently this place does not need business. We will be eating somewhere else or making our own sandwiches.

The young guy behind the counter was patient and nice. My friend and I stayed past closing time unknowingly and he kindly asked us to leave by saying "sorry, I'm supposed to shut the lights off now". I got a big chuckle out of his remark. ?Will return in the future!Glad to see young people still out there working!!
