We stopped in for breakfast and had the cinnamon rolls, turnovers and kolaches. The owners were extremely kind and accommodating. They made us feel right at home! Definitely a great place to make family memories! On our way out we grabbed some cheddar jalapeño bagels, cinnamon bread, and some cinnamon rolls to take home to grandma and grandpa. We will for sure be back for the pizza night on our next travel through.

You can’t go wrong stopping by The Danish Bakery. The pizza is phenomenal, their sandwiches are incredible and the sweets they make are out of this world. But one of the biggest compliments I can give is the service. These people care. Last night I had my daughter in her stroller when I went in to pick up our pizza order and one of the ladies went out of her way to help me not only carry the food out but also help with my stroller on the steps. It was busy, but she said, “I’ve got 3 kids, I get it!”
It may be a small gesture but it was huge to me. Just grew my love for The Danish Bakery even more. Highly recommend stopping by!

We visited the Danish Bakery a couple of years ago. The food was good but the inside looked like something out of the ‘50s. Last Thursday, I went in to get a snitch (that’s great food that you don’t exactly need) and voila, the place was totally revamped. I got cherry rolls that were to die for with cream cheese icing. You ain’t gonna get that at Hy Vee. They were just what the doctor ordered.
