Delicious food and Painkiller drinks, who could ask for more!?! Friendly staff! Our favorite place to go to on the river!
Pop N Docs is a river staple, it’s very good “bar food” and they often have live music. I mean where else can you go in a boat or by car! Ride here on your motorcycle or pull up in your boat! This place is very unique. We saw toddlers to people in their 70’s they are welcoming to all. A great small town experience to pull from miles. Certainly Perfected the self serve model reminiscent of a tourist town, no table service which seemed to work just fine. Simply go to the bar for a drink, or inside for a food order. They will bring it to the table and the staff quickly cleans up any empty food order beverage containers. While “running a tab” is not their strength (needed to remind them to bill for missing items), they are a great stop with great people and would say the experience was not missing anything. Would certainly recommend the experience to anyone. Think casual, river side, sun burnt and ready for good food and fun!
Get bartenders that know the difference between bourbon and Irish whiskey! Also get more options in whyskey. The bartender seems to think what pop n docks has to offer is good. NOT! They had 3 options other than jack and everyone knows Jack SUCKS!
Young kid running the kitchen and they seem to lose orders and leave people hanging
Only open seasonally, wish they updated online so it doesn't say they are open when they are not.
Excellent food, service was fast and the place is just a joy to visit.

Found this little out of the way place about an hour from our house. We didn't realize we came on the last day they were open for the season, so they had a limited menu. We had chicken sandwich and straps, both with fries and they were pretty good. They were crunchy and fresh, tasty and filling. It was nice weather so we sat on the patio and ate. I suppose during peak season it is more interesting to watch out there with boats coming in and out from the river to dock

The food and drinks were basic bar food and drinks, but it was nice to sit outside near the lake.

We had the walleye dinner. Not much walleye inside it was all greasy batter on the outside. Two of eight meals we had were the walleye dinner and both were the same greasy with very little fish

The Alaskan walleye was great! They had a band playing when I arrived. Ordered food at the counter and they brought it to me in a timely fashion. All pretty much, get up and get what you want as far as drinks, silverware etc. Nice outdoor, covered patio. I drove over an hour to try the food. The soft drink dispenser was out of syrup for most selections and turned down for the few that worked. I would recommend buying the bottled pop, if you don't drink.
The place was clean and people were friendly. A storm was moving in so, the band was leaving. I followed a few patrons out to the other spot in town.
Nice views, good food, fair prices, friendly staff, clean. What's not to like. I'd come here again.
