I only give these ratings as we were sat outside of the restaurant in an area by the theater
Had the best meatball sub in Omaha! Unfortunately, they removed it from the current menu rotation.

Went for Brunch, they went up to $25/person. Seemed steep for what it was.

i've had pizza from here before, and I was super disappointed in my most current experience! The bottom of the pizza was so hard. It was almost impossible to rip off and chew. The waitress did take quite a long time to bring out salads and a pizza took over 35 minutes when we just ordered a small that contained four pieces and it was pepperoni. Probably won't be coming back.
Backlot is one of our favorite places to eat! Incredible food and service.
Yesterday my wife and I went to pick up some pizzas for Togo. They ended up taking longer than expected (maybe 10 minutes overdue) and then after we left (only a minute down the road) they called me to notify me they forgot two pizzas. At first we were a bit annoyed from the longer wait and the mistake but when we got there we were greeted with the manager walking our food to the car, apologizing and giving us some free movie vouchers for our time. Incredible way to recover from what few mistakes this place makes.
If you’re wanting a fancier pizza spot before a movie, this is the place to go!

Best pizza in this part of town. The service was fantastic. We were seated in kind of an awkward, high-traffic spot, but it didn't end up taking away from the experience at all.

This place has been a go to of mine for a while now. They have good food, a good laid back atmosphere and friendly service.
However they recently decided to change their entire menu for some reason and they completely removed their amazing buffalo chicken pizza from the menu! 😡 That was THE biggest reason I came there and by far my favorite thing on the menu and it’s a shame it’s gone. Please add it back!

Last night was our first experience at Backlot Pizza. My husband and I joined a few friends for a very rare night out and we were highly disappointed. Our reservation was at 6pm and we were seated right away. Our waitress was kind but dropped the ball several times. We were never offered refills on our water but had to ask for more multiple times. I ordered a coke and when asked for a refill I was forgotten twice and it took over 20 min to get a refill on my coke. We waited for over an hour for our food. When the waitress would finally show up to our table, which happened very rarely, she was confused as to why we didn't have our food yet. After she went to check she blamed it on a busy kitchen but we have a feeling she forgot to put our order in. Everyone around us those that came before and after us were seated, served, finished eating, and left before we even received our food. Some of those groups had even more than 4 in their party but they had a different server. When the bill finally came they were both wrong, ours and our friends. My husband and I orders a family pizza to share and the price in the menu was $30. When the bill came she was charging us $50 for our pizza. We let her know it was supposed to be a family pizza and that it was $30 so she took it to adjust it. Came back with new bill that she offered a $2 adjustment to. We were still paying $48 for a $30 pizza. At this point we had been there for almost 2 hours so we paid and left. I don't know if I have ever had an experience this bad before anywhere and it was a huge disappointment. The only good part was the pizza tased good, I was just so upset that by the time we got our food I had 2 bites and was ready to leave. I will not be going back to Backlot Pizza nor recommending it too anyone.
Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait 20+ minutes to get up to the front of the line to even check in. We had the brunch buffet. Most of the buffet was empty. There was trouble filling it up our whole trip there the buffet was not fully stocked ever. It really isn't a good value for $25 a person when there's no food on the buffet.
I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant/bar is connected to the movie theater and one of two restaurants located within. The food was very good. We had the burrata which came with a very tasty glaze and the bourbon BBQ pizza which was a little sticky, but delicious. I would go back again.
The service was very friendly and prompt at all times! The food was excellent as always and came out hot and was delicious! A great dining experience overall!😊
