Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait 20+ minutes to get up to the front of the line to even check in. We had the brunch buffet. Most of the buffet was empty. There was trouble filling it up our whole trip there the buffet was not fully stocked ever. It really isn't a good value for $25 a person when there's no food on the buffet.

I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant/bar is connected to the movie theater and one of two restaurants located within. The food was very good. We had the burrata which came with a very tasty glaze and the bourbon BBQ pizza which was a little sticky, but delicious. I would go back again.

Server was great. Mother's Day brunch buffet. - almost every tray was empty. Took a long time for food to start coming out. It tasted good but that really ruined the experience. Kitchen staff, or whoever runs the buffet seemed very unprepared.

We went at Happy Hour and didn't know it. The hostess was very kind to let us know. We sat at the high top tables to take advantage of it. Our waitress had to leave us to do another job in the theater. The manager took care of us. She was great. The fries had to much sauce on them. Pizza was good.

Backlot was very busy today but they were very helpful and accommodating with our 2 big groups for Easter! The host was especially helpful (getting us seated at the time of our reservation) and our waiter was great too! We appreciated them going above and beyond today!

I gave 3 stars because I called multiple times to speak to someone about reservations since the recording said you could do it online but there was no where on the website to do it. No one answered and I just got voicemail. I called a dozen times and nothing. Not good to not answer your phones and your website should offer the option especially if you say it does. Also, no one responded to my FB message either. Not good for a business.

The food was good and the service was the wait staff was great. However, we ordered 3 pizzas and two came out relatively quick. The third one came out almost 25 minutes later — after everyone else was done. No explanation — this is unacceptable kitchen service. Then to add insult to injury there was no reduction in the bill or comped items — ruined the whole experience. I do not plan to return with such poor kitchen service.

It seems like it's rare to receive great service anymore, but Backlot's service was amazing. Our server was fantastic and very attentive. The pizza was delicious and we will be back for the Hot Honey drizzle.
Spinach and artichoke dip was awesome. Cool little bar. Nice dining area. Hooked into the movie theater. I will have to go back and try the Detroit style pizza for $9 during happy hour 3 - 6. They said it's the same in Aksarben village will have to call and verify.

This is a nice, chill restaurant right off of the movie theatre. The kids menu was affordable and they all cleared their plates. The ancho chicken wrap was absolutely delicious, too. Definitely coming back again soon.

Had the corned beef sandwich which was HUGE and tasty. Wife had a French dip which she loved. Only issue was the music was way too loud to the point of use having to stream at each other to have a conversation but they turned it down when asked.
