I love backlot pizza. We only seem to make it there when going to a movie but the food is always awesome, especially their pizzas they are amazing! Service is great as well.
We have never experienced such terrible service at a restaurant. We waited 1.5 hrs for our food which made us late for the movie plus we had to take the food in a ‘to go’ box into the movie. This is so unacceptable. Don’t ruin your evening by going to Backlot.

If you decide to take a chance and eat here, i want to wish you.luck. My wife and I waited over an hour and never did receive our ordwr before we decided to let the rudest waitress in Nebraska know to cancel our order. The movie was starting in 5 minutes. The hostess got upset when we let her know we didnt want to sit at the bar.
We rarely go out so this was supposed to be fun.
Thanks for nothing Backlot

They were very busy on a Saturday night, but they were still very attentive with excellent customer service. Food was delicious. And we got to go drinks to take to our movie!
Great food and drinks, but the service and management are severely lacking.
I have been to this restaurant three times now, and while the food and drinks are consistently good, the operational side of things is a mess.
Every single time we visit, the host stand is empty. Because the stand is physically blocked off from the main dining area, if the host walks away, nobody is monitoring the door. We have had to go track down staff just to get seated every time.
The service issues continue once seated. Our server is often nowhere to be found—to the point where I’ve actually had to walk to the bar, order our drinks, and carry them back to the table myself because we couldn't find anyone to help us. When we do order food, it often takes forever to come out.
The kitchen clearly knows what they are doing, but the front of house is struggling. This place desperately needs an engaged manager and to hire more staff to handle the floor properly.

We have dined here multiple times, but the service and atmosphere has really gone down. Tonight we asked for happy hour drinks while we were seated for dinner, but were told by the manager we had to change tables and moving about 20ft to a different location so we could get the happy hour price…same restaurant, same waiter, same menu…why?! Then when I asked for the ribeye steak on the menu they were out….again. The food is always good though the menu is limited, so it is not the chef/kitchen….the waiters are nice, and the drinks are fine so it is not the bar. Clearly they need a change in management and attitude towards customer service, and when they do maybe people will give it better reviews.

Our server was very pleasant, helpful with selections and made sure we got to our movie on time. Food was excellent
I have been several times before but I came in for lunch at 1:30 and stood at the host stand for 10 minutes. No one came to seat me so I left.
Stopped in for lunch and had a great experience. Jennifer took care of us and was awesome the whole time, and Tyler jumped in and was just as steady. You can tell the team here really cares about quality service.
The Cadillac pizza was the best thing we tried, and even the gluten free version surprised us. The burger didn’t land for us, but everything else made up for it.
It can get a little loud since it connects to the movie theater, but if you sit farther inside it’s totally fine. Overall a great lunch and we’ll definitely be back!!

I only give these ratings as we were sat outside of the restaurant in an area by the theater
Had the best meatball sub in Omaha! Unfortunately, they removed it from the current menu rotation.

Went for Brunch, they went up to $25/person. Seemed steep for what it was.

i've had pizza from here before, and I was super disappointed in my most current experience! The bottom of the pizza was so hard. It was almost impossible to rip off and chew. The waitress did take quite a long time to bring out salads and a pizza took over 35 minutes when we just ordered a small that contained four pieces and it was pepperoni. Probably won't be coming back.
