We stopped in the pub for a beer while out for a walk when camping in town nice little pub and very friendly owner. Visited with a local rancher and had a great time. Ended up staying for 3 beer. Did I mention the $2 happy hour beer! Haven’t paid that little in many years for a pub beer. Didn’t eat so cannot rate that but have a feeling it would be great as well. This place is worth a stop .

my friends and i went down for wurst tag yesterday and we checked out both bars. Before even going to your bar we had heard some negative things from a couple locals but thought they were just being "haters" since that's how small towns go. When we walked in it looks like a cute Lil bar and it wasn't overly busy obviously just the couple local regulars. nobody said hi when we walked in but we went up and got our drinks and went into the back room to sit down. we noticed that the pool tables were covered...got told we couldn't play pool...figured due to an expected crowd so we waited. some guys from a poker run can thru...they also got hollered at not to play pool. nobody came by to see if we wanted more drinks every round we had to go get ourselves. we started playing music only to have our music continually skipped by the locals on the app which we couldn't connect to because we were told the wifi password is for locals only. thank goodness we were all playing the same type of music. finally convinced bartender to let us play one game of pool after we had been tipping very generously and the second she thought we might play another game she said I thought I said you could only play one game. I get that you wouldn't want your tables messed up w inconsiderate out of towners but also being someone who has been in the industry for almost 20 years I understand how big events can carry a small business for a couple months. we were willing to spend a lot of money yesterday...well we did just not at your bar. while we were there in just an hour we did spend over 100 bucks between drinks and tips and music. and we didn't even require anything other than a couple basic drinks. I get that locals keep the lights on but visitors should also be appreciated and not made to feel a burden. next year we won't even bother coming in. sad thing is this year our group was sent down to check out wurst tag before we brought a much bigger group from the panhandle down. good luck in all future endeavors.

A bartender by the name of Colin Keith was very helpful and devilishly handsome. He served me the best Busch light that I have ever had, as well as charming the other customers and I with his wild quips. The bar itself was quaint and had a welcoming environment, but the handsome bartender truly tied the experience all together and gave me a night at the bar that I will never forget.
