This is a great small town experience. Friendly people, Lisa and Gloria make you feel like they've known you forever. They have some fantastic soft serve ice cream, malts are excellent ! They'll make you a Banana Split "Your Way" if you feel like not going traditional. If you find yourself in the vicinity of Fairbury Nebraska, do yourself a favor and stop by Classic Cones for a delicious treat. Better hurry as they close for the season after Sunday August 25th

We’ve stayed here twice and are planning our next stay. We love this place. We don’t eat breakfast but we enjoy the large kitchen and different options for coffee in the morning. We love the peaceful little town and hearing the church and court house bells. The exterior needs some maintenance, but that will probably come. The rooms are comfortable and roomy but the bathrooms are pretty small. Zach is responsive if/when you need help with something. Thumbs up.
Best ice cream and milkshake
Long wait but nice people and good ice cream
Was told that the coupon for our restaurant breakfast would be delivered to our room . . . we didn’t find it but the restaurant trusted us and gave us the breakfast Shower enclosure is very small The fan in the main bedroom was controlled by the light switch we were unable to turn the main lights on
Clean, friendly, good parking, easy access, room was warm and comfortable. All plumbing worked. Great restaurants. Speedy reply when talking to the host. Would recommend this to anyone, anytime. Well lit property, safe, all locks worked, all appliances worked.
Best ice cream and milkshake
Best ice-cream around.
our grandson loved the "Harry Potter Cupboard" in our suite. There is a large living room with tv, games, etc. Access to the kitchen. parking was limited. This is a good location to visit with family. Very charming house.

On a 4 day road trip to see the Bridges in Iowa our first stop was in Fairbury. We chose it because my parents lived here and I last visited with them in 1969 when I was 16. It’s an inviting looking house and clean. The first floor is beautifully decorated! Because of the pandemic there’s no one in residence so at the moment not really a B & B. After booking we were told our room number and the front door code. Our room, #8, was upstairs. Everything in the room was very tidy and clean. The king bed was VERY comfortable and the room was quiet. The bathroom in this room is very small and could use some improvements. The toilet looked pretty new, the sink was small with no where to put toiletries. The shower really needs reworking so the water doesn’t flow out onto the floor. I tried to use it but failed. There’s nothing to keep the shower curtain in place to prevent this. The large window in the shower is water damaged because you have to point the shower head at it to avoid a flooded floor. Hubby took one but the window got one too. The bathroom door falls open into the sink and toilet area. An exterior sliding barn door would be a great solution to that. There was only one tiny shampoo bottle, no kleenex, no hairdryer, no light above the sink. Fix those issues and it’s a 5 star room. We did enjoy our stay nevertheless.
Great little ice cream shop, very reasonably priced check it out if you're in fairbury
So delicious! Love the lemon ice cream!
First time visiting Classic Cones. One large peanut butter shake and a snickers flury. Good flavor and great prices. I will definitely be going back the next time I am in Fairbury!
Great place for ice cream and the staff is professional and friendly.
