Parking: parking at times is hard due to the barber being next door. Food is usually great but tonight food was barely warm and mashed potatoes looked like they were combined with some days old potatoes.

I have eaten many meals at Railside and the food is well above average! The staff is friendly helpful and are attentive to the customers. There aren't many small mom-and-pop establishments left, and I hope you will stop in and see for yourself that good service and good food can still exist.

What a delicious find!! We stumbled across this spot on our trek across Nebraska. Delicious food! Real mashed potatoes. Burgers and beef. Amazing!

Very disappointed in my meal asked for well done hamburger and was raw in the middle. Plus being a Saturday night wanted a better meal but menu items changed and could not get and good meal cause only offered on daily Specials. Very disappointed from previous times we have eaten there.
Could only get fast food type off menu.
Can't recommend dinner meals cause not offered on Saturday night, like chicken fried.

Very slow.

But the fries were really good.

This experience was truly remarkable. The staff were friendly, the chefs were fast and diligent, and the overall service was that of a five star restaurant. I highly recommend eating here!



Vegetarian options: Their side salad is simply splendid.

We love coming here on weekends for breakfast!! The staff is really quick, friendly, we love how they know their regulars, the people we've met are just as friendly... Always a conversation somewhere to be had... The food is delicious BUT I will say, be sure to be hungry!! They are NOT your average restaurant of high price, little food, it's a reasonable price, great quality of food and definitely an abundance... Empty tummy required... Best fried chicken steak and chicken fried chicken... Bacon is not thin and flimsy and real eggs... Can't beat it! Enjoy!!!! We do...

Found this online while traveling through. Food is so good. Very fresh and comfort food. Everything we ordered was awesome. Server was great and the experience was fabulous. We will be back when here again.

We had a wonderful experience here! They are reopening with new staff so there’s definitely some kinks to work out, but I loved that part about it…. Just adds to the charm! We stopped by in the middle of the afternoon and had excellent friendly service. The Rueben was delicious, but soooo rich. I couldn’t finish it. (Less pimento would be good or maybe swap with Swiss cheese). Pickle fries were top notch. Crispy.

We enjoyed it so much we decided to come back the next day for brunch. This is a new thing for them so kitchen staff even came to our table to ask for recommendations. Food did take awhile, but we weren’t in a hurry. I had the hash, and the flavors were all there. Just needed a little tweaking which we discussed. I love that they are asking for feedback so they can continue to improve! I can’t wait to go back and try the breakfast hash again! Definitely give this place a try. Just go in with patience and grace and I promise you’ll have a great experience!

Today was our second time here. Today's Sunday Brunch was the attraction for further testing!Menu was smaller than we expected but...wow food quality we had. Mine was a burger, prepared rare as requested, bacon, egg, and fresh jalapeños as requested. Am confident saying was the best burger I have ever enjoyed.They offer a variety of special foods different days of each week. Think is posted on their Facebook.
