It’s Friday night and I drove across town to find out that the advertised closing time of 10 PM is a lie. Currently 9:08 and they have all the lights turned off pretending to be gone. This used to be a decent local Amigos and reliable place to grab a good meal. Times have changed. Avoid this place unless you feel like wasting your time. Abelardo’s across the street is the way to go people of Grand Island!

On June 18th at around 4:00, I had a fantastic experience at Amigos in Grand Island. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The service was prompt and friendly, ensuring my dining experience was enjoyable. Alex did a great job taking my order and the food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I especially loved the enchiladas and the crisp tacos, which were both delicious and generously portioned. The clean, inviting atmosphere added to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Amigos for its excellent customer service and great food.

This is the worst place to eat in a 100 mile radius of Grand Island!! Called about missing items etc.. and asked to speak to the manager and she told whomever answered the phone to have me call back. Absolutely no customer service and what I did get was not edible.

Hey, just a bit of advice. If you’re going to give someone the drive up window job you might want to make sure they aren’t a FREAKING IDIOT and know your damn menu! Soft Shell fast-pack is what I wanted you freaking morons! I will NEVER go back to ANY Amigos ever again. You lost a customer for life! I will stick with Taco John’s.

Tex/mex staple. Get the soft tacos, get mexi fries, and get their ranch and spicy sauce for both. Bonus points to get spicy cheese.
The Southwest Chicken Fajita rolls up is so good, so powerful that it saved my marriage, helped me lose 40 lbs and helped me be #1 in Halo 3 multiplayer. 10/10

I decided to eat inside of the restaurant. The Salsa Bar was removed. You have to pay for your Ranch cups now. The Flies were swooping around my food and I just had to pack up and go home to eat. The food was just average, sorry but wasn't a happy camper.

Terrible! I called because they forgot my nachos after my daughter waited over 20 minutes in the drive through! They were beyond rude! They blamed my daughter for driving off without the food and we’re just awful! I paid over $47 and the food was cold and when I asked to speak to the Manager who was Christine Alvarez, She was even worse! We won’t be returning!!
Kid-friendliness: Terrible! Should lose their jobs! Pathetic!
