Would not recommend this restaurant. The steak I was served was inedible. When I asked to have it removed from my bill. I was told that I could have another one prepared. Too late-, by then the rest of my party was almost done eating. Then the manager said I needed to pay for my sides. Shame on her. I came in there for a steak dinner. I ate my salad and 1/2 a potato. Not the dinner I had planned on. I paid the bill but could never recommend this establishment. It could have been so easy to make me feel taken care of. Instead she made me feel like I was trying to get away with not paying. Customers never forget.

Our salads were the best ever at a restaurant. So nice that you get to choose everything. My T-bone steak was excellent too. Our server Katie did a great job. I wish we had this restaurant back in Lincoln.

My wife and I ate here passing thru Nebraska. We were trying to reach Des Moines for the night which is 4 hours away and didn't have the time to saunter. Unfortunately, the cooks decided to start preparing the meals for a 20 top table right before ours and we ended up waiting about 45 minutes for our dinner. Our server was fantastic, but we ended up having to rush our dinner and box most of it to go. It would have been nice if we could have received our food in a more timely fashion that allowed us to enjoy our meal. One thing of note. They do not serve small steaks here, so if you can't eat a full pound or more of meat, then get one meal to share.

Kinda overrated, steaks were cooked unevenly and poorly seasoned, service was slow for how few people there were. Salad was good, could have been better. Also quite pricy, $22 for a tiny average steak.

Buffet line wasn’t maintained. Obviously very short staffed. Was there for 45 minutes grew tired of waiting for chicken and pizza to be replenished and left. The staff was more worried about getting people through the door than feeding them. Very disappointing

We had eaten here previously when traveling and on a tip from the hotel where we were staying for the night. We remembered it being an easy to get to establishment close to several good hotels and that we enjoyed the food so we made a point of planning another overnight stay on our last trip through Grand Island. The menu selection is large, something for everyone, and very reasonably priced. Portions were also very generous. The steaks my husband and I enjoyed were very tasty and done perfectly as ordered. They offer salads with your choice of a huge selection of add-on’s and dressings, and the salads are fresh and large. Servers were friendly and came in a timely manner. They checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. This restaurant is in a strip mall and while it doesn’t appear to have the look on the outside of a usual steakhouse, the inside is huge, clean, and very appealing in a rustic atmosphere. We definately enjoyed another good dinner at the Texas T-Bone and would encourage others to not miss out on this gem.

Create your own salad is great. If you are not getting an entree it’s $12. I wish they had a veggie plate, but they don’t. They do have a. Early bird special.

Looking for a good steak in Nebraska come here; Texas T-Bone has it. This place has the best way to get your salad-you build it. The choice for side dishes is amazing as well, from baked potato to mesquite baked beans, vegetables and of course macaroni and cheese. The rib eye was breathtaking. The Mango Sunrise was refreshing to wash it all down. Our server Bella was fantastic. Besides the food there is an Honor Table that is always set. This tribute was a great topping and way to end a great meal.

We stayed ìn Grand Island on a trip through the Sandhills and the Dakotas and ate here. We were very satisfied. Our steaks were flavorable and cooked exactly like we requested. We both had the 10 Oz ribeye with teriyaki grilled shrimp. Delicious! I had the grilled vegetables (2 skewers of fresh zucchini, peppers & mushrooms), hubby had the sweet potato fries. Both sides were great. You get to pick 5 toppings for the "create your own salad." They have a great selection of items and it's all very fresh. They advertise the salad as gigantic. It's true. It's served in a small stainless mixing bowl. If you like French dressing, get the "made in Nebraska" Dorothy Lynch dressing. So good! Our server, Shannon, was wonderful. She was so friendly and very attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant.
