Excellent food and great folk! Each of the sauces were a little sweeter than I expected, and the spicy was pretty mild, but with that in mind - enjoy!
Amazing build your own pizza!!! BBQ is really good also. Ranch is on point!!! Tried the thick and thin crust pizzas beyond phenomenal and had a two meat plate also. Brisket and chicken are delicious. Mac and cheese curds off the hook.

First impressions are important and this place made a good one. Greeted at the door, explained the menu very well since I had never eaten there before and the sauces and sides. Clean, welcoming, and delicious food. I'll be back next time I'm in town.
A wonderful experience from the helpful staff to great food, with reasonable prices and a good location!
We were driving through town and stopped in here for dinner wanting to experience some solid BBQ. The reviews looked great, so we were excited. And that’s where the excitement ends… the food was not good. Like so not good, I couldn’t… make that the whole family couldn’t finish their meals. The ribs tasted like they were pre-boiled or foiled with too much liquid and then crisped up. They were ok. The turkey looked like processed cold cut quality and didn’t taste smoked. The chicken looked and tasted boiled and was over salted. The sausage was edible, as was the brisket. Sausage didn’t taste homemade and the brisket was a bit fatty. Sides…. Mashed potatoes were weird… maybe powdered? The beans tasted like Heinz from the can. And to make it a 1 star…. No beer because no one working was of age to serve! Couldn’t even wash the food down with a brewskie! I have another star because the kids working were really sweet. If driving through, don’t bother stopping here.
Don't know how this place has 5 stars. This was the worst brisket I've had. Small flakes of fatty meat extremely small portions. Don't bother
Ribs and brisket very tender and moist. Thin crust pizza also very good. Food came out fast. Young lady that took our order very pleasant. Highly recommend.
Went to the Chuckwagon BBQ in Grand Island. Haven't been there since last July. The first time there, & the 4 or so other times I've been it was great all around. This evening other then the friendly service from the gal that took my order, my visit was disappointing. My wafle fries were crunchy, & over cooked, the brisket had way to much fat, & the portions of meat was less then I remember from my other visits. The only food item that was decent was the corn bread. All of this for same higher then average prices that were charged on previous visits. It's rare I come out to GI, & I used to like this place, but upon this visit I feel jipped, might be a while before I visit again...
Always stop here when in town. Great pizza and BBQ!
This is the best BBQ place in Grand Island. Sometimes, it takes a bit of time for you food to be ready, but it’s always worth it

Very, very nice place, excellent service and really good food, if you ever are in grand island Nebraska, go and check this place, you will like it like i did.
Great place to get some good BBQ. The pulled pork and jalapeño cheddar sausage are very tasty. Everything came out hot and tasted great. I've had the brisket here and it's pretty dry, so I'd steer clear of that one if you're expecting a moist and savory brisket.
We ate here for the first time last week and were very pleased with the excellent BBQ! The brisket was excellent, along with the chicken and sides we ordered! The service was also friendly! We look forward to trying the pizza and other menu items next time!
Pretty good. For a small town it's a great little restaurant. The pizza is quite good and love the way they do it. The barbecue is decent, I think the brisket I got was probably smoked the day before or maybe even 2 days before. We'll go back and try some other barbecue stuff and ask when the brisket was smoked..
This was fantastic! Gluten free pizza for me, brisket for my love. If I lived nearby, I'd be eating here all the time! You can't even buy an uncooked glutten-free pizza at the store for $8, so one that tastes good, and doesn't make me ill at this price, is heaven. We'll be stopping here whenever we drive through. Also, the young folk working when we stopped in were very pleasant and fun (like they are maybe treated well there!)
