Ordered this "shrimp fantails" and I don't know what that black stuff is but im pretty sure it's not supposed to be there. The one I actually ate prior to this was disgusting. No taste, no flavor. And that lettuce... need I say more? $9 wasted on this. The only reason I'm even giving 2 stars is because the crab Rangoon was a bit better taste wise.

I ordered the only vegan meal option on the menu; which was lunch and the price was to include soup and appetizer. There are no vegan soups or appetizers, no salad available and no discount for less food. When I requested a discount my waitress said her boss wasn't there, then said she would call her and then magically her "boss" (or some other employee) appeared and told me no discount as the soup and appetizer are complimentary with the meal, Rather than entertain a possible future vegan option, I stated that I would not return. Her response is "that if fine". Additionally, they did not bring the ordered appetizer for my dining guest and there were no napkins provided at the table. The food was bland and the staff was rude. Definitely will not visit again.
The food was right up there with golden gate. The atmosphere is 2nd to none in GI. Our server Edgar was simply the very best server I have had anywhere in over 15 years. There is nothing I would change about this experience.

Hunan's could be so much better if they served their food hot. Every time I go there with my mother-in-law who loves the place, nothing is served hot, not even the soup. Everything is lukewarm to warm. The flavor of the food is o.k., but it would be a lot better if it was served hot.

Food is just ok...The traditional wings were on the bland side, very little to no seasoning. The lo mein was not just good. It had a very strong garlic smell, salty, and soggy (noodles were just sitting on a plate of watered downed sauce). In general everything was just "blah."

Best Chinese, I've ever had. I've been dining at Hunans for decades. Hunan's, Grand Island, sets the standard in Chinese food. The food is exceptional. Service is great. Always clean.. I highly recommend Hunan's, Grand Island and Karney.
