Went there at 7 pm she said they were closed! Couldn’t sell me anything , she already waisted it out. On line hours said they are open until 8 pm.

Grand Island already has a few chicken places. There are the fast food stables of KFC, Raisin Cains, and Popeyes. There are also local favorites like Tommy's, Pam's, and (oddly enough) the Chinese buffet Tso's. But I thought the idea of a Chicken joint that close to the interstate would be great for travelers and to give a little competition to the others. I came at the lunch hour on a Saturday and ordered a twelve piece Cajun tender, small potatoes wedge, and honey biscuit. The best thing about the food was the flavor...they got something going there, a little spicy but not overwhelming. Unfortunately the chicken was dry and barely warm. The grease made it impossible to handle, I can't tell if it was cooked at too low of a temp or if it had set out. The potato wedges were soggy and cool. The biscuit was dry and crumbled but the flavor was okay. It was more affordable than Popeyes but if you're looking for quality I would recommend the drive into town.
