El Vallarta Mexican Restaurant Gretna

Can’t really understand what the waiters are saying, I asked for no beans on my plate and it was obvious beans were on the plate before it went out to me and they took it off before sending it out, brown smudges of beans all over. My taco salad was buns and I probably won’t eat here again. It took quite a bit of time for the food to come out, at least 20 minutes. The location is really hard to get to or even find, and the walls seem to change color every time I go there.

Was not overly impressed with the food found it to be very bland and kind of sloppy. Definitely nothing authentic about this place. Service was really slow even though they were not busy. There is definitely a lot better Mexican be had!

Good food, doesn't come with everything listed. This is the second time ordering pick up and my plate is missing guac and other fresh produce. Disappointed. Ordering a specific plate for what it has and ended up with less ingredients than a taco.

A friend and I went today for lunch for the first time. Everything was very good. Our server Tony was very polite and professional!! The margaritas were delicious, as well as the 2 dishes we ordered??I had a shrimp and scallop dish, while she had a chili relleno plate. It was a plate full. We both had take home boxes. We will be returning again!!!

Ordered 2 steak street tacos, and they came out with only meat. No onions, cilantro, or anything. Was in a hurry and just went with it.

We stopped after our kid's soccer game. The 20oz Margherita specials were great, and the food was fantastic. Atmosphere is small and cozy with sports on TVs and fun murals on the wall. Would definitely stop again or try their other locations.

Generally go here when in the area. Margaritas are pretty good here. A large variety of dishes and never really been dissatisfied. Food has always been pretty tasty and worth the visit each time we are in the area....

Vegetarian options: I'm sure there are many dishes you could have and just leave out the meat.

Parking: Large lot just outside as it's part of a mini strip mall.

Kid-friendliness: Good for all

This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in our area. The portions are enough for 3 meals.

The food here is absolutely disgusting. I ordered a meat and cheese tostada. The tostada was covered in queso cheese with little clumps of ground beef on top. It wasn’t even edible. Be careful if you use their restrooms. The floors are so slippery, I’m surprised someone hasn’t fell yet. I would not recommend this place.
