I was in Beatrice for business and made the 20 minute drive to Hallam for a steak. My ribeye was well worth the drive! Service was prompt and very friendly. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the mood for steak or wings.

We have a great dinner tonight. The salad bar was very good. Pork ribeye was very well seasoned. It was perfectly cooked. Also the chicken friend chicken was tasty. All very reasonably priced. We will be back!

Today, I stopped by Hallam Steakhouse for lunch, and they had a fried chicken lunch special that really hit the spot. The fried chicken was exactly what you’d hope for—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. Paired with a side of creamy mashed potatoes topped with rich, savory gravy and a serving of sweet corn, it felt like classic comfort food done right.
The portion size was generous, leaving me completely satisfied, and the quality was excellent, especially for a lunch special. Plus, the cozy, welcoming atmosphere added to the overall experience, making it a great spot for a hearty midday meal. I’d definitely recommend giving Hallam Steakhouse a try if you’re in the area and looking for some solid, comforting dishes at a great price!
Been there 4 times. Only got to eat once. First time it was great. 2 times we made the trip after checking hours to assure they were open, only to make the drive and there's a hand written note on the door saying they were closed. The 4th time, we sat on the bench for 10 minutes and were never even greeted by staff. At least acknowledge we're there.
